I grew up around this particular type of passive/aggro, the one that refuses to engage ("No, I can't talk. I'm busy."). The point of this non-engaging is to place the other person in a position of seeeming powerlessness. When a person refuses to engage, what can you do? Again, the whole idea is to make you fell like yo can do nothing.
Of course you can, but there can never be any reasoning or negotiating with such a person. You have to decide on final outcomes ("You have to move out. That's my decision and it's final.") And you have to declare those outcomes in clear and simple terms.
It's a sad thing to have to deal with ultimatums like this but that's the positon offered you by a passive aggressive. They won't deal no how. At eh bottom of this is a terror of exposure, in every last one of them, but you'd never expect as much from their conduct.

I'm not holding my breath, as the devil's in the details.
She-who-shall-not-be-named offered to move out herself, after I emailed both of my roommates to proffer the discussion. After all, this was what I was trying to do all along: sit down, and discuss our living situation, and if they would be amenable to MY leaving. I also called the landlady and gave her the heads-up, in addition to asking very nicely about the process of breaking/changing the lease.
The third roommate has yet to reach a decision, as our other option, given by the landlady, is that we all vacate. Hopefully no strings attached. (I imagine she'd like to rent to a single entity, rather than three separate but equal tenants.) This might indeed happen, luckily I have another place lined up for July.
I really should quote devil-frau's email to me here, I really should. It's quite a good load of BS, the last scratch at inflicting some harm... yet with the threat of more. Ultimately, however, when I read through the lines (threatening to "escalate," which in my mind means cops, and though I have done nothing wrong, still) she just wants to be left alone. In her cave.
Side note: she's studying to be a Physician's Assistant. I will of course inform all of you where she is working, as I can't imagine you'd like an Adderall-abusing wino fascist diva giving you medical advice.

Unfortunately, jerking it into her hairdryer would tacitly require that I think of this (really quite gross-looking, IMO, and as discussed above, otherwise awful) person while doing so, and I don't really think the two things can happen concurrently.
Inasmuch (as Woody Allen said) as masturbating is simply "having sex with someone you love," doing so in with above-mentioned manner sounds more, to me, like self-rape. Blech.
So, we're all moving out. End of June, landlord is confident she can have the place rented in no time (which I do not doubt), so, hopefully, no double-rent and no keeping of deposits, etcetera. And no, I'm not holding my breath.
