time zone change? What's that? I live in AZ where no such thing exists (unless you are on the Rez).
k-man: BTW I have had a LOT of fun at both SF's. I got rather depressed when they both ended which tells me I had a blast. I'm glad Ron didn't work really hard and got to mingle (and get so drunk he puked or however that worked).

I think the policy changes you suggest at 100% reasonable.
(I again apologize for having to pull out from the last one. Not my style, but some odd times have been a happening here.)
edit: excellent OUCH! Again - such attention to detail with the hydrocondone.
For the next sushifest, can we have an area dedicated for those folks who are sorta scared of dogs? I'd like to be located in the avian section of the campground.

Hmmmm,.... reptilian?
Never mind.
It looks like I commandeered Tim's truck. Is Kuan boozing it on my cot in the back?
More importantly; is that dog on the upper right eyeing MY pills?

One night was not for us or so I could get my Dutch ovens cranking. It was trying to accommodate the other aspects of a fest for you.
For my part it was just me never thinking that for you part a big part are you performing on stage. Very well I might add!
As for the changes all understandable and I would look at it like a spec home or concert. The cost goes up the closer to the date not to bank but to cover extra expense and difficulty the last minute planning incurs.
I told Rox next time it’s for a week if I have to go alone. I understand she has school and several bosses. But I don’t sorry..
I think the turn out next time will be better no mater where. How many of us can fathom the investment from you it must take.
I have many artist friends and would never dream of not going to a showing. Basically that’s what it is, an art show for the senses.
Thank you again RCS

Thoughts....
Nature works too hard and misses out on much of the fun the rest of us get to experience. I couldn't agree more that he needs an opportunity to play not just work. I tried to explain this to him at SSF xx:iv but he didn't believe me then. Do you now Doug?
I think he's got the cost thing figured out now after two events. Both events he's had mucho pescado left over. If people can't notify within XX days of the event then they they lose they're deposit or.....tickets can be considered transferrable correct? I can see the ebay listing now.
The band was an absolute blast. Honest to biscuit, I truly enjoyed it! Amazingly good considering no practice and they don't play together.
Ricardo.... if the next fest is in J-Tree we can have Roxanne fly into Phoenix, Onterio or Vegas. I'm confident we can get her a ride if she can't attend for the whole event.
I put a call into the BLM office on Wednesday to inquire about permits and what would be necessary (if anything) to get the Josh area. No call back and I forgot to follow up. I didn't go over to the proposed site today...not sure why it's all of 2 miles from the house. Perhaps tomorrow.
Great event guys!

Sooze: making the whole thing happen *is* FUN for me. I'd love to be able to make sushi for ya'll's AND climb all day with ya'll's. But when I have to give up something it's the climing and it's no big deal. I can climb any time but I can't pull of a huge crux like this any time. It's a huge challenge that makes my heart pump. I just need a better hauling system or something.

I will pass it on to Rox. She was worried what would it be like with a bunch of old farts.
( my age group not yours)
She even mused what I have gotten my self into.
She had a blast we both met and made some fine new friends.
Jaybro
I guess it is next year and we can show how the Ill. boys put up.( Ok 5 to 35 in Cal)
Never the less I think Veudavoo area would be a blast.
Doug
I thought it was too soon for you to jump on again. I am sure you need to digest what you were happy with and what you would change. I am sure you are your biggest critic, perfection comes at a cost.

"Looks like I missed out on some good times (and some eye candy too!)"
Looks like I'm the one that missed out on the eye candy.
Anyway, I always thought ST.com was a Yosemite/Sierra thing, and was suprised to find y'all climbing and partying in an off-the-books spot in AZ. Thanks for letting Manny & I join up for the day. We had a great time and appreciate it.
And thanks for the boat tow!

Mark, keep that list. It was great! I still haven't figured out what song that is you guys played late (2:30am) on Sunday. I was sure that Pagenmonkeyboy would remember but no such luck.
Doug, I'm putting out the local feelers. If interested, start logging into:

Welcome to Mike from Phoenix to our little forum. You'll soon see that St.com is 20% yosemite/sierra stuff, 45% political crap, 2% astronomy, 10% general climbing info and 23% sushi-fest.
Sorry we missed you and Manny at Winslow. Where were you guys earlier?

sooze - was that when we were unplugged with mike on stage, or were we still amped at that point ? radiohead ? stones sympathy for the devil ? that's the problem with music - you just open it up and it pours out and sometimes you aren't really there any more, til its over...(add a few cups of sake and stir...)
cool you got the list mark ;) psyche...

We were at Winslow Wall. Went to the Doctors Office yesterday. Great stuff.
Maybe I could make it to the J-Tree fest if it happens.
