Wes -- Classy photos as always, lively bunny & birds. I liked the little guy taking a bath.

snake -- I specialized in Cannon for a few years, way back when I had more energy, but later decided it was kind of far to walk. Nowadays I'm looking forward to Whitehorse season, maybe just another month?

IC -- some great textures, including the crag photos.

Some day I ought to get a real camera, although I know that won't make me a real photog.

To keep the pics flowing: nesting brown boobies not too alarmed. "Man, what are you doin' here?"

Indianclimber, thanks for that 'future boulderer' pic.

JB needs to see that, he was wondering how to get some 'game' over in the Timmy Fairfield thread.

Wow, great pics, all!

Wes, if you can do all that in an afternoon. -humbled-

Got an old pic of bizarre rock formations in Taiwan I took when I was a kid. Will upload after I have time to hit the scanner.

edited to say - I dearly hope that pic of the dog and the deer is photoshopped.

Oh, and Chiloe - don't know if you've seen the movie Spirited Away, but those boobies look just like "No Face".

By the way, glad you're considering climbing in NoCo in April. Would love to hit Whitehorse with you if you're available.

Loved that movie, and Howl's Moving Castle was good too.

Can't say yes for sure (sorry!) but I'm interested. Maybe Children's Crusade or somesuch?

Man, this thread has turned into a whirlwind trip through a magnificent photo mall! Incredible images, you guys-n-gals.

Wes--The cardinal flying could win you an award. I was just at the NAMPA annual conference and some of the winning entries were far less dramatic and technically precise than yours.

Indian Climber & Snakefoot--Really good stuff!

Chiloe--If that's what you get shooting with a fake camera, please don't get a real one! Some of us novice photographers would be so intimidated, we would never post anything!

Indianclimber, I just realized - that's bark! From some kind of orange birch? I've tried to get that photo before, with no success. Kudos!

And the cat - wonderful!

Everyone's stuff is wonderful, keep the Odd Photos coming!

Thanks much for the kindness. It was a nice afternoon for sure. And it doesn't hurt to have a target rich environment along with plenty of CF cards. There are plenty of one and zeros that got deleated when I was going through the cards.

Oh, and one more of the bird bath - need to get back there again for sure.

There are still a couple more from yesterday, and some more Franti photos on my site, http://www.knowchaos.com/photos

Thanks again for the great feedback.

Mooch, your happy critter is unrelated to my sad one, so tell him not to worry.
