oddly enough
just three months ago Pence said he would support Ted Cruz over The Donald
oh how fleeting is loyalty
but given Pence's dismal approval rating as governor in Indiana, his re election would be tough
better to have 15 minutes of fame as another Sarah

HFCS, I'd like to see Warren. But, I'm guessing it's Kaine.

So far, it looks like we are all in agreement. Warren.
Booker's probably my second choice.
Newsom would be my first. And it would groom him for the Presidency in eight years. Very surprised few are pushing him.

not Warren as I feel an all female ticket would suppress the male vote even more than Hillary alone will
otherwise for her VP, someone who can destroy both Donald and his VP pick in the press every day and during the VP debate
we got this, please join me in calming liberal angst but without suppressing the vote

Huh. Interesting choice, I remember you mentioning Newsom earlier. He needs to find another job. Lt. Governor is 1000x duller than veep.

dirtbag, he's already got a team and he's shooting to be the next CA gov. However, he's brilliant and brilliantly liberal so I wish (1) his aim was higher and (2) Dems would encourage him / it. But for some reason it hasn't happened.
Looking ahead eight years, I'd prefer Booker to Kaine.

The base considers Powell to be a RINO so they don't care.

Sandra Day O'Connor came under fire in 2000 after she was overheard saying "this is terrible" at an election night party when it appeared that Democrat Al Gore had won. The moderately conservative justice's husband consequently told guests that she wanted to retire but wasn't willing to do so if it meant her successor would be appointed by a Democratic president. O'Connor then famously became the fifth Supreme Court vote to install George W. Bush as president.

So one down and one to go. Trump Pence
Mostly, I liked Powell and still do. He was a team player put in an awful situation. I would have voted for him for pres if he ran...

It's a bit different to privately state "this is terrible" vs. publicly and repeatedly criticizing a presidential nominee.
I wish Ginsburg had zipped it. If there is a president trump or ( G-d help us) a Gore v Bush type situation those words will haunt her.

Yes, she should not have said anything. But she is only human like the rest of us and made a mistake then did her best to correct it. Genie's already out of the bottle tho...

Trump predictably overplayed it too by saying "her mind is shot."
