Congrats! Everyone wants to lose weight till they wind up in the hospital or with cancer:-) Hope the 18 lb loss means you'll be sending hard soon. Now that you are feeling better, can you share what happened?

It was a leader fall. I flipped over and hit the back of my neck. Crack.

Thanks Captain. Would there be anything you could do differently? After someone I know got their rope behind their ankle in a fall and described it to me after getting hurt sport climbing, I only then realized that I didn't think about that at all (cough * 40+ years climbing * cough **), and in fact, was going to take a bad one if I fell cause my frikkan ankle/foot/leg was often in the wrong place.

Cap'm, I feel your pain.
Was intubated recently not as long
as you, mind you. But sucks nonetheless.

So proud of you for pulling through.
Not just for you, not for us,
but for the least of us.

Stay strong my friend,
and so will I.

Deal?

Love and respect.
