Nice bump Mick. In my thoughts one of the best threads on Supertopo was started by Ed Hartouni about the late/great Frank Sacherer. It gets real, real good as it develops. It's when social media, electronic connectivity and the internet really shines. Don't know why it hasn't been listed yet.

I don't know his partner who wrote the story up, but I'm pretty sure that the "Wayne" in Karl Babas rec.com story above is Wayne Wallace of Seattle. Great story.

I see elsewhere on the forum that Metanoia is completed and will open the Banff Film Festival. This seems to be a good time to nominate a whole bunch of Jello threads and posts here, but the opening post of this one:

Ah, c'mon now. No respect for JIM HERSON, the greatest dad to ever climb in Yosemite? Those trip reports are gold. (And I'm not just saying that because my own puppy is in one of them ...)
