There were multiple times when Hedge would threaten to have someone banned, and after that person was banned, Hedge would crow about it, taking credit. He seemed to choose his targets based upon political differences.
It's funny as hell now that Hedge is the one who finds himself on the receiving end of the big shithammer.

Like so many before him jhedge posting on OT threads would have been twice as interesting if he would have posted half as much.
My take on jhedge is that he has more vitriol and ire, than say a fattrad; is less cogent than RoxJox; and their equal in the OCD department. Jhedge’s true colors shone through, when after Bullwinkle asked him not to use his artwork in a thread which implicitly labeled the model a “pussy”; he hid behind some kind of idiotic and convoluted argument (like so much of his reasoning) invoking the 1st amendment instead of seeing that honoring the request (deleting the thread) is ethical behavior and not to mention in compliance with the DMCA
I will say, I take schadenfreude in the howls of indignation rising from the thinning salt and pepper haired cracker barrel wing of the ObamaNation that passes as political thought on ST – you guys are the new dittoheads – load up on your low pressers, Zoloft, Ambien and give yourself a prostate exam and keep telling yourself you got it all figured out.

What fools like you have to have pounded into your skulls, is that your new 'dream-system' is just that, a dream, an unworkable Utopian fantasy. You claim to be saving millions, but you don't realize you're condemning EVERYBODY to mediocrity. You will be killing more than you claim to be 'saving'.

No Obama won't enroll himself in ACA. And I agree that he is insincere in his stated political ideology.
The republicans attitude toward health care, and most of the opinions you give, are equally ridiculous. They made no effort to improve health care prior to Obama. They opposed the ACA at the same time they claimed it was unavailable to the public. The conservatives claimed it was socialist, it would fail, be too expensive, there would be death squads, it was unconstitutional. But they also claimed they couldn't read it because the socialist president wouldn't release it. About as ridiculous as Nancy Pelosi's comment, wouldn't you say?
The Obama drones are gullible. The conservatives are motivated by spite and forget to make any steps toward any improvements because it might benefit people they don't like. That's not an admirable position, nor patriotic, is it?

You might have added that this was after they invented this form of healthcare system (Heritage Foundation) and also first implemented it (Massachusetts).

I spent quite a bit of time on a bagpiping site. On that site the people were studiously courteous with each other, opinions were expressed as opinions and reasons for that opinion given; and posters never posted repeatedly in an attempt to dominate a thread. There we had people who had made world level contributions, but that was never a factor in the discussions.
It was just plain great. Great information nearly every time.
On ST we occasionally get a great thread. ST's overall ambience, however, leaves a lot to be desired.

The dream system is single payer. This is what we ended up with after a year of fighting and too many compromises.
You think he really believes in all this sh#t? Is he going to enroll? I do believe he believes it, and yes, I think he will have insurance that meets the requirements set forth by the ACA.
