Deets was referring to the fact that the collapse of each of the Twin Towers began with a massive explosion near the top, during which huge sections of perimeter columns were ejected out horizontally so powerfully that some of them traveled 500 to 600 feet. BTW, the perimeter at the initial collapse level moved inward at the start of the collapse.

The force is puny with explosives.
Give me 250,000,000Lbs (1/2 mass of a tower) falling 800+ feet (1/2 height) and I'll make your explosives look like firecrackers.
The numbers I've heard for this physics problem come out at about equivilent to 200,000 lbs of TNT.

Just sayin.. explosive explosions would have been utterly pointless and miniscule compared to the forces produced by that building itself once it started falling.
You didnt read the 200,000 lbs of TNT equivalent force part did you. (some of that undoubtedly got vectored sideways)
Second I've seen plenty of stuff that big and bigger falling down that far and further. Nothing about those collapses looked odd to me.. Hell I was commenting live that those folks in the streets a few blocks away were just running panicked from a basically harmless powder cloud.
Been there seen that multiplied about 1000 times over.

Controlled demos are loud, and they don't throw multi-ton sections hundreds of feet.
If explosives are throwing some pieces 600 feet, the explosions had to be massive and loud.

you may have seen stuff that big come to rest after falling DOWN first, hitting the ground them bouncing out and away... you have NEVER seen falling stuff coliding in midair and being propelled away from each other as depicted
Wrong. You didnt notice that the building itself was being hit and crushed as the top stuff fell down? Some stuff got deflected sideways as would be expected.
it wasnt dust that holed buildings 4 and 6... which didnt collapse as 7 did

One of the most recorded events in history surely must have recorded explosions capable of throwing multi-ton sections 600 feet.
