Can you only delete fairly recent posts? I wanted to delete an old post but the "edit" button does not show. I can delete pics but not the post….

I believe that you can only delete posts that are less then 10 days old. I have seen someone who deleted older posts, but I don't know how.

susan it depends on how you navigate to the post.
i think if you arrive via the search function,
then the edit button shows up.
only some of the time.
as opposed to clicking on the forum topic
of the ancient tread that you want to edit / delete.
it's a little bit senseless around here.
the infrastructure is appropriately ill-logical
as entertained by this unruly bunch of chatty monkeys.

Hey Couchmaster. Don't know what you are like in person
I've climbed with him. Great guy. Friendly, encouraging, and accomodating. He's like the ultimate local, the King of Rocky Butte...one of the rare US crags you can take a city bus to (close enough anyway, gets you within a few hundred yards.)
Don't confuse the intardnet with real life.

As pointed out late in the thread, Patrick Sawyer lives in Ireland, and is NOT Pat Ament. Pat Ament uses the "Patrick Oliver" avatar.
