I went up and checked out the salt tram that used to carry salt out of the Saline Valley , passed it over the crest of the Inyo's , and passed it down to the Owens valley ...
and looking back on the other side out to the Sierra...

Nice pictures Dapper. I was in the Saline last week for a few days climbing and soaking. I have not gotten around to the stickers yet. I'll get right on it.

Replace the higher bat with a fighter plane? A little burro on the right? Next item if going for the busy path might be a scorpion? The simpler cleaner design with just the one bat is more iconic though.

Is there a "best time" to go? Thinking about flying into Chicken Strip late winter or early spring next year. Any climbing accessible on foot from the airport or hot springs?

So yea, this is my finished product, its simple and sweet and makes the mark and I like the font on this one better
Best time to go would be fall and spring, although less people during the winter months.
