I dunno man.... this red button just appeared. Though I don't have one next to your name Caylors, or Werners. Trust me... if I did. WHACK!
Locker = Uncle Martin == Roxjox. He was shown the door. He came back. The latter is all he needed to do to get the boot.
sorry for calling you a sissy :-( Don't delete me bro!

Nature did it, I heard he's got the red button, or is it Werner?
At first glance I read that as "I heard he's got a red button on his weiner."
I hope posting that doesn't get me deleted.

love these threads bemoaning "excommunicated" Taco posters
whomever has been banned has not been punished. Far from it. Whomever has been banned has been released.
No joke. I would be delighted to log in to the Taco one day to find myself banned.

donini, I agree. But this is a quasi-public rather than public forum. If the Grand Poobah wants to ban a LEB or Rokjox or donini, that's his perogative as far as I'm concerned.

Sure, it's his decision. I, for one, would like to see a lighter touch.

I haven't been deleted. I have simply chosen to look in from the sidelines and keep the peace.
Plus this little bit of advice I've come to realize... You have to understand...
most people are not ready to
be unplugged and many of them
are so inured, so hopelessly
dependent on the system,
that they will fight to protect it.

This is the way it was explained to me. Not certain if that is what they decided to do as I wasn't in on the final decision. The first person to have the whack-a-mole decided he didn't want to do it anymore. So this was the solution.
Nature doesn't have the button all the time. It is a roving whack-a-mole button that Chris decided to try out. Select people get it on a roving basis. The last I heard the plan was to have it rove and if three people click the button on a post, then that post is deleted, and the same thing with a person. Chris still has ultimate authority as he decides when a person is up for the whack-a-mole, but he added this just to see how it works. This was decided as a something to try to see if some of the negativity can be cleared out.
If you see a red button next to a persons ID, then click it if you want them whacked.

Its new... and not everyone has been selected to be a whack-a-mole. Since the original whack-a-mole doesn't post much anymore, they bowed out. Plus the way I understand it is is roves among a group of people. so even if you are on the list to be a whack-a-mole, you might not get the button for a particular person. Plus Chris doesn't want to whack a bunch of people. He is hoping that people will get the message and police themselves.
Chris explained that he would listen to appeals from those whacked. Though I understand that LEB might have burned her last bridge.

John... The one rule about fight club also applies here. You don't talk about supertopo red button club.
That sound you just heard was me pressing the red button next to your name. Bye!
