skipt was a mean spirited nut, good riddance. Basically if I saw him on a thread I just closed it for good. Wes made me laugh sometimes, but could be pretty sharp. Fatty was seriously getting on my nerves to the point of either not logging in or giving him the greasemonkey script, the same meaningless posts thousands and thousands of times over on all threads. Nice guy in person though. I don't know much about front mental or whoever but his anti leb thing was really creepy.
I love the arbitrary whackings- keep them coming (even if it means me too).

I simply must post on this epic thread.
Personally, I'm thinking asteroids are falling across the PNW and NorCal and our Pro Israeli Socialist government is not allowing the main stream media to publish this fact.

fattrad/Jeff spoke in non-sensical 10 word sound bites when he was on politics. I took him to task many times and I'm annoyed he didn't put me on the Socialist of the Year list. He loves to brag and often spews garbage just to be the center of attention. Yet I never saw him say or do anything really out of line. I presume no one took him seriously when he threatened to "tool" them.
He's been a generous supporter of Facelift. He's a decent guy to have a glass of wine or beer with. He's often offered to share his campsite in the Valley when some of his compatriots have bailed. I'd have taken him up on it if I'd been free.
And yes, he did get a "hot" chick. She's also a very nice person.
On a different thread I posted that I'd said enough on this topic. Yet here I am again.
Even though I've found weschrist offensive a few times, FortMental very occasionally nasty and out of line, and Skipt (among one or two others) vile nearly all the time, I'm very very opposed to censorship without at least a brief explanation of why these people were booted.
I've never met him but I believe CMac to be a decent guy. I'm assuming that a lot was going on in private communications between at least fattrad and someone(s) else and someone squealed to Chris. It still disturbs me to see censorship.
I look forward to hoisting a glass of ale with fattrad sometime soon.

In my opinion Fat's post were nothing but repetitive BS. The man needed and craved the attention...kinda sad when you really think about it. I spend some time with Jeff and thought very highly of him in person...his online persona I couldn't stomach.

Wow..skipt got the boot? Shocking, but completely understandable. That guy is destined for a 'Post Office' moment, any day now. His posts were 99.8% politi-hate, and rarely (if ever) climbing related.
FortMental? Funny, but his 'art' was over the line. Chia Pet genitalia and phallus-heads, posted over and over and over and over, targeting (stalking, really) the same person...no surprise he got the boot.
Wes? I don't know what line he crossed, but he did have a razor-sharp tongue (that was sometimes greatly appreciated)- that he might have said something that pushed the wrong button isn't too much of a surprise. I'll miss Wes...he contributed some good stuff.
fattrad is the biggest mystery- sure, his climbing exploits are minimal, but he supported ST (& Facelift, apparently) regularly. His propensity to target the same 3 people with 'you're a piece of crap' and 'you're a moron' memes grew tiresome about a year ago. Still, it has me scratching my head.
Here's to hoping we see Wes & fattrad back...soon.

fatty definatly went downhill the last year or so. he used to be somewhat interesting and would actually discuss things in a decent way... yes he became repetitve and stupid but not sure where he was offensive like skipt? Wish chris would tell us what is up so we know what not to do?

CMac doesn't pay much attention to other threads. his own however.... bad place to take a crap.

The difference between Donald and Skipt that I saw is Donald never got real ugly.
for the longest time I thought they were the same person. They both came off as being about as bright as an burned out incandescent at Russ Wallings house.

Donald is nowhere near as unstable and angry as skipt. Sure, DT is annoyingly persistent, but he has never been anywhere close to the level of bi-polar instability that skipt regularly exhibited.

Did the border collie guy get nuked? I need some advice on our border mutt, but was not sure if he was a real sane person and thus never asked. Pretty much if I saw him on a thread it was time to move on.
