bvb--
After you chuck the scanner out the window from frustration, and with your drink in hand to calm the nerves think "Ohm pade mayde ohm" or something to that effect.

PS--
Just got an email from a friend concerning Santee Boulders. Access Fund is on the job. A friend of mine is collecting Santee History for the fight. I sent him links to SuperTaco and everyone whom he should get in touch with: bvb, Doug White, Greg Cameron, John Vawter, Werner Landry, and said Stonemasters who spent time at Santee. When was the earliest documented climbing at Santee Boulders? Was there any Santee guide prior to Doug's "Crags and Boulders of San Diego County"? What were the actual dates for all Santee Bouldering contests? Important info. to document for saving Santee Boulders. Please help. I know you all care about one of our favorite bouldering areas. We are not going down without a fight.

My damn scanner! I guess fluorescent bulb on fluorecent bulb doesn't work too well . I hate it when I get lines all over my perfect positives. Gonna have to go check-out a real good scanner for purchase. Any advice would be appreciated. Needs to be able to do 35mm slides to at least 5" x 7" positives. Thanks.

Yep, you got it, right below the Pingora and Wolfs Head.
Almost died on sight soloing the Wolfs Head, got way off route and wound up on this 10b finger crack with wet moss oozing from it. Still cringe thinking about, 23 years later!

Hurray!
bring em on BVB. The pics are cool. I'm a little rusty b/c I've been out of action for 8 months getting my flimsy knee ligaments fixed, have to knock a little booze and cobwebs outta my head to play.
I love woodson. My favorite time out there is in the summer, early evening just before dark, when the air is still, the light is still in the sky, and the bats are starting to come out of the cracks.
Seen some cool critters out there too- ringtail cats, a couple of grey foxes, and brown trantulas
