Every single President since Eisenhower has played golf in office.
This President loved "mountain biking" instead of working on the economy which he
presided over while it went into Recession and the stock market lost 50%

A lot gets accomplished on the golf course. Many things that can't possibly be accomplished in an office. You outdoorsmen should know this. Imagine a world where we only needed our war ships for golf courses. Yes we can.
When I go climbing, hiking or mountain biking I work out most of my life, presentations, marketing, new paintings, etc. Any of those cube people who only have two weeks off a year, imagine how much time they have to be creative.

One thing I would like to see Obama take a public and hard stand against, is campaign funding and the Supreme Court decision regarding Citizens United and campaign funding
Uh, did you miss the whole 2010 SOTU and Sam Alito dustup when Obama specifically called out the Supremes for f*#king up the country with the Citizen United ruling?
Ever wonder why that turd Alito doesn't attend SOTU anymore?

Obama is the most intelligent man sitting in the Oval Office since I've been alive and also the best speaker. I never was very political, but as I get older, my interest in such things has become much stronger.
I live in Massachusetts, and Romney was my governor--he SUCKED! It was obvious to me that he was more interested in the White House than Massachusetts.
The Republicans just don't have anyone who can match Obama's intelligence-PERIOD.

too bad his so naive about the world and wound up accepting socialist ideals. Too bad he was so naive to think that Meathead, Boner, CantDo and McCrappy would even try to govern cooperatively.
It's taken Obama way too long to wake up and recognize that the Tea Party bozos aren't the only opposition who believe destroying your "enemy" comes before the national interest.
Take your "socialist" mantra crap and stick it where the sun don't shine. Then maybe you'll have some credence with me.
Odd isn't it? That the political rhetoric in America has been so controlled and distorted by the right wing that "socialist" is a term of evil while it's opposite "Capitalist" is the champion of the greater good. Rather than any kind of rational, practical and humane discussion about what works and doesn't work, what's morally and ethically right and what benefits our society as a whole.

Imagine that, a State of the Union where the PotUS addressed the nation, and managed to talk about the middle class without disdain, but rather with compassion and an understanding that we ARE the backbone of the U.S. Without the middle class, we are just another 3rd World Country. F*#k you Republibots that think the rich contribute anything other than stockpiling of old world wealth. Without the $500K and below, there is no United States of America. Just remember that when the revolution comes if the Drones of the Right manage to get elected.
Obama has been in office for 3 years. How has the middle class done in this time? Has the gap between rich and poor narrowed? Why listen to empty promises and propaganda when we can look at his record?

Good post. I think the GOP wants to go back to the McCarthy era and label everyone an anti-american communist (except it is socialist now) that doesn't agree with them. Unrestrained capitalism is the only solution to our problems, because corporatons are inherently good and will look out for the greater good.
We are still digging out from the mess the last time they tried that approach, but no one is willing to talk about middle ground. Sad for the joe and jane six-pack and 90% of America.
