blue, it looks to me like your paranoia is being generated by too much chronic, too much boredom, or both.

Whatever you've been doing, stop it for a while. Change your routine a bit, then report back.

In my last post I made the case that the country (At its inception) was extremely progressive.....

Progressive has been its nature since the beginning....

Progressive will how it lives on...

Yer most welcome-
And I meant every word too.

Really, it's quite shocking to look at many of your postings online and then consider that you are the role model for a young person.

You never did answer- not that I saw anyway-

What do you read?
What do you watch?
Where are you grabbing this garbage that you spew?
You are CLEARLY all strung up and strung out-
And frankly you DO sound just like Glen Beck...

And I would feel sorry for his kids too, with their poor little f*#ked up lives on the way.

Did you see my earlier reply to you? I told you what radio shows are my favs.

Reading? Drudge Report. Rantburg.

I would call you a rotten son of a bitch, but that would only insult your blessed mother who seemed sweet. You instead are a very nasty, hateful man who instills his hatered upon the children of people he disagrees with.

Dude, that is lame. And frankly, you're out of line. To insinuate that my political stances are more subjugating than yours upon our children is actually laughable. There should be none.

But you, being the as#@&%e you are, will assume I will raise my boy to be a right-winger who hates gays, right? Oh, and spics and niggers too, right?

You f*#king judgemental as#@&%es have no concept of me. It blows me away because I'm actually really a pacifist and a uniter when the fights break out.

But y'all would rather take edits of my posts and portray me as a hater, bigot, racist, or whatever.

It does piss me off, but since I know it's unfounded I just percevere. What really disappoints me is the fact that there are peeps so hateful that they would attempt to smear a man for speaking his mind.

These are the demonic souls that I have vitriol for. It's sad. And I'm not usually a hater, but....

It's your own fault Bluey ....

You let your mind speak for you.

You should be the speaker not your mind which you let control over you.

You should be in control of your mind.

So now what?

Gosh, how in the world could we have gotten that impression?

You're acting like an attention-seeking drama-queen, blue.

What he SHOULD do is just delete these whacked out rants and ravings that make less than no sense and make him look like a crackhead, just so that his poor kid won't google him in a dozen years and hafta wonder "Geez Dad, WTF?"

As for what groups you hate or don't hate, I really could care less, you are no more interesting than Lowest ever was.

Good luck.

I don't think that's a fault or a problwm, Werner. Not really. More people should voice what they're really thinking.

Matt, you haven't f*#ked off yet??? Why do you keep coming back here? Is it the car-accident syndrome?

Ed, if I ditched my family for the weekend to go climbing, would that be a better use of my kid's time? Jesus, you people have bizarre ways of obfuscation!!!

Maybe I should start a thread on directional anchors! That way people won't be concerned about my family life!!!!

whatever...

For Blue a Communist is anyone who

a.) he dislikes and/or

b.) he disagrees with.

Broad categories, overly generalized conclusions.

ah, I just thought that doing something real would be preferable than "fighting the fight" on the internet...

if you want to take what I wrote as a personal affront, well, that just makes my point.

I'll delete that post, my previous posts, and eventually this post.

No, Ed. I love you, man. I just don't like people telling me what to rant about.

Ed, I have mucho respect for you. Doesn't mean I dig your opinions, but I've always respected your insights. And your climbing prowess with Linda and Eric.

Peace, bro.

If I understand the point of this thread -- and I may not -- the issue Steve (Bluering) was trying to raise has been put somewhat more succinctly on "Liberty vs order" thread.

It's an interesting and important subject, and deserves attention in a way that "Republican vs. Demopcrat" does not, so maybe deleting this thread, which quickly devolved into personal attack and counterattack, would be the sensible thing to do.

Take the debate to a thread where it can be carried on intelligently, and let this one fade from memory.

True!!! Maybe carry your heart in your head. Then, right mind, right action, etc? With considerable investment of time, energy, and money individuals or groups do gather knowledge and effect positive change.

Still!!! Typing on the internet is doing something. No matter we are reluctant to change. Anyone get the tweet about the end of the war in Iraq?

Communism was never really 'alive', Rocky. Think about it. NEVER been implemented correctly. It always devolves.

And you could say the same about our great attempt at a 'different' system. But as Winston Churchill once thought, we do no have a perfect system of governance, but it is the best thing going.

Communism is dead. Too many people have tasted freedom and individuality. And too many have spoken out about living under communism.

But if you do not study it (and it's cousins), you may be condemned to repeat it, whether it occurs slowly or is brought on rather quickly (Venezuela, and watch Egypt).
