Just argueing semantics. If they went away nothing would change.
For those who don't use them.

If cams went away the change would be dramitic..
Yeah, only climbers with greater than a "plug n play" protection paradigm would be sending hard routes. Climbers like those who GROC TriCams.





What sizes are most useful?
All of them!
If I had the #6 & #7 with me on this Voo route I wouldn't have toted the silly tube chocks.
Didn't carry or need any springy things either.
Tricams Rock! They are almost essential in Eldo, mightily magical in the Black, a 'slots o fun' secret weapon at Red Rock and irresistibly indispensable on alpine mixed adventures.
