Ah....My jimmy jams ARE my playclothes, Dear Lady.
I DID have a shower or two....usually when I noticed increasing space between myself & others. ;-)
Which answers the FatTrad query. If you're stinkin', you may need a shower.

Still thinking about Tacofest, but tacos for the non meat eaters. I love to make tato tacos- though not sure if i want to make them in camp.
Steve W, can you make the facelift this year?

I would Just throw it all in a Haul Bag, Climbing Gear and all and call it good but maybe I am a bit behind the times. Looking forward to this years Facelift Last Year was great.

Lynne, Par boil or nuke, yukon potatoes , cut potatoes into cubes and pan fry with olive oil untill almost crispy golden , about a minute before golden, add finely chopped garlic and Chile powder,
cook a tiny bit more but don't burn the garlic...i personally like a fair amount of garlic and chile powder..
warm tortillas- add salty mexican cheese or feta cheese ..melt a bit on tortilla.
chopped olives..
avocado..
lettuce ..
salsa or tapatio sauce..
opt..sauteed unions..
you do not need to add salt to the potatoes, because the cheese and olives add plenty.
Yum.. tacos papas
ps edit, Glad you like the book, knew you would..;-)

Would be cool to come to a facelift; tough to get away from my teaching position to join the party. That is unless one of you wordsmiths could write a decent proposal of why a 6th grade social studies teacher should attend the Facelift Conference...
Maybe I could make that a contest like Nita's 6 word one earlier in the spring...

I'm really beginning to consider a trip to the Valley of Light just to meet up with some of the SuperTaco'ans in person.
If I can make it--consider this: I'm an excellent camp cook, and if tacos are indeed on the "menu", would be able to bring out some of my own ranch-raised beef hamburger as a contribution. World class beef, I might add....
Would also like to do a bit of climbing, as I should be pretty well healed up by then. Any possible partners? Probably nothing real hard yet, but who knows?

I bet Hobo Dan has underwear. I swear that wearing the same clothes for a month isn't a problem just as long as you get to wear clean underwear. I had only two pairs while on a long backpacking trip. One in the process of drying from a fresh wash and one wearing. "It was great."
