Dr. Sumner is in repose, studying incoming data in search of real world trends. Unlike you "model cultists", i'll put my faith in facts-actual scientifically documented observations. Alaska just finished its shortest summer on record, Siberia likewise and abnormally cold, upper latitude Europe's glaciers are again growing and they are about to slip into the sixth severe winter in a row, Antartic ice mass is increasing while the circular winds and currents contribute to it's decreasing temps, the Arctic has 60% more (multi year by definition since its thickness will only increase over winter) ice than last years fluke melt season, South America is coming off a historically cold and severe winter that saw hundreds of thousands of livestock losses and hundreds of people killed,the cold sun will soon go into a deep minumum unwitnessed in modern times, the PDO and AMO are in negative phase, China and the developing world are releasing hitherto unseen amounts of reflective aerosol pollution, volcanism is above average, the IPCC just self immolated but the doomsday cult cheerleaders are just to dense to discern the smoke from the imagined vapors of their mythical feedbacks. The globe is in a cooling trend ladies and gentlemen. The climate will never conform to your sick fantasies.
Ed, what the hell you are you doing man? Forget about this global warming madness, let's get out there and put up some new obscure climbs that nobody will ever care about let alone repeat.

We are now asked to change the world’s economy on the basis of yet another scientific theory. The fifth assessment report of the IPCC has concluded that there is a 95 percent probability that humans are responsible for climate change. We are induced to accept this conclusion on the basis of naive faith in scientific authority.
There is a point where the theory turns into fact.
Get this, there's 100 doctors in a clinic. 95 say the infection is going to kill you if you don't take a strong dose antibiotics. The other 5, who have been shown to be shamers, say "You're fine, don't do a thing."
In this scenario, The Chief would be happy listening to the 5, because heck, those antibiotics are expensive!!
Hey The Chief, ever go to a western doctor, who bases their practice on science? Did you ever take a pill??
Oh, the hypocrisy is deafening.
