Well hell - since we're padding this thing with every relative and mammal you've ever met - I'll at least offer up a direct descendant.

May I present my very own junior Gothette - captured while trying to convince her Stepmom that she is not as shitfaced as she appears:

We did not believe her by the way.:)

Raydog, The winters must be cold and long up in Minnesota, might be hard to find relatives.

RRK, I will leave that up to your imagination. It is one of the many hot tubs on the East Side. If you look you will find one.

Think everyone will stop when we hit 1000?

Me and my sweetie Su, in a rarely seen part of Wind Cave:

Lars Johnson on Choquito Dome:

Lars' son Nils on his first roped climb. Troy Johnson and Chuck Clance watching:

Chuck Clance on Mid East Crisis:

Bob Steed on Comic Book:

Eric Drew and Pete Colby looking for the set of nuts we lost the day before:
Luckily, no one else was climbing in ALL of Indian Cove in late June that year. We went back the next day and found them sitting on the same picnic table where we left them.

OK, here's my contribution toward 1,000 (these number things are purely arbitrary to me, but as long as the content is compelling, what the hail, it's all in fun).

Getting ready to roll with my stunning bride in the 1963 Fiat Cinquecento right after getting married in Cortona, Italia, la cittą dell'arte:

Return to Cortona, a few years later, this time with il bambino Colin in tow:

My daughter Hannah, budding thespian, on her 17th birthday last year:

The every smiling Audrey... she was just born that way:

And some climbing stuff. Top of the first climb I ever followed (awesome teacher Dave Bengston on right). It had snowed down to about 1,000 feet above the valley floor that night. When I got up to the belay I recall thinking, "Dang, all these people crawling around down there and they have no clue just how beautiful and cool it is up here!" I was hooked right then and there:

Here's the approach to a climb in Hong Kong... on the ferry to Tung Lung Chau (Island) with partner Clement (note I've now switched to Raybans :-):

On Tung Lung Chau, climbing by the sea... big waves crashing behind you; sweatin', sweatin' and more sweatin'!
