HI TYeary and all :D
Another Friday night....they come more frequently as time passes. I haven't posted here in awhile. It's good to be alive and have friends and two wonderful jobs. Hope to climb again soon.....been a while. As far as getting drunk on any night, it's a waste of precious time imho. (Not sayin' tho I never get a wee bit tipsy.) :D Cheers

Thought these were pictographs at first. Just giant lichens about 18-24" in diameter!

Hey Fritz, I bought a bottle of 7 Deadly Zins, just because you keep yappin' about it. It's not usually the style of wine I drink but I thought I would give it a try. The Zinfandels that I drink are called Primitivo and usually come from Puglia. I'll be sure to give a report when I open it up.

Cold & windy here-like everywhere else in the west.
It must be: Goddess wind punishment for California.
We are drinking: Jest a little St Michelle Cab, and jest a little Valley of the Moon Zin.
Funny how those bottles emptied?
Must be: High-altitude evaporation phenomena
Whymper (in the 1800’s) solved the problem by sleeping on the liquor bottles.
The guides then: couldn’t evaporate them in the night!

We are anchored to the "ranchette."
No DWI for us or the Inukshuks!
On their part: I suppose the charges would be DWS: Driving while stone!
