Ya, I'm bitter! lol! Hope to see you at the Point sometime before winter...guess I know who to go to for surf lessons tho...

I was going to say that at least Stoney isn't as crowded as Malibu, but lately it's been hard to even find a parking spot at the point on Tues and Thurs.

hey cole take some advice from Rincon. rincon is a hard wall climber and well accomplished surfer. rincon is a inspiration to me and could be for you!

parking at the point is similar to surfrider beach.

Hello! I am brand-new to the world of climbing and also to Stoney Point but I've been at least 2-3 times per week over the last month, and I've fallen in love :) :) I am looking to purchase a crash pad, but I don't have a ton of money to start off with. I went to the REI members-only sale this weekend but unfortunately the employees took off with all of the crash pads before the sale was even opened up to the members. I was hoping that someone might have an idea of where I can get a crash pad cheap or used, I'm not having much luck on my own and all of the climber friends that I have are in New Mexico...
