Best served? All developed nations with single-payer healthcare systems have better healthcare than we have in the USA, and they pay less than half as much for it. I thought Republicans/conservatives believed in "getting what you pay for?"

I have become kinder in the last few years, and now I only want to let conservatives, who hate our government & don't want to pay taxes, starve in the streets, when they run out of their conservative resources.

Suits me fine. Its a common trait among statists to think that the only way a problem can get solved is by government intervention.

I highly recommend you take some remedial economics and finance classes. Because like many of the tards on here, you seem to have trouble with the basic accounting principles of sources and uses of funds.
You think the only "cost" of Healthcare is what people pay the doctor for their services without recognizing that other citizens are subsidizing the system through higher taxes. Its nothing more than welfare with a different looking income statement.
At least Rottingjohnny is honest and recognizes that the objective is to butt f*#k the successful people to prop up the others that aren't so inspired.

In the UK, about 9% if income goes to healthcare and there is no deductible for anything. Many people are born, live out their lives and die in the UK without ever paying anything out of their pocket for healthcare. The 9% NHS tax covers everything. In the USA, we pay roughly twice that much, we get inferior healthcare and there are lots of additional out-of-pocket charges.

There is a lot we don't know and a lot of complex ethical issues there are no answers too.
Rationed care is all good until it's your family member .
If you don't think that insurance companies here ration healthcare, you are naive beyond belief. And, the insurance companies who decide what they will and won't cover for you have a very real adversarial financial position to their patients. That does not exist with single-payer.
