So, the latest version is that, he simply lied to a number of people, and never incriminated Cmac and Rj, and that that somehow those lies show a great wit.
How is that better than to have narked those guys out in the first place?

We will never know what happened.

I have never understood this internet troller thing that flat out lying to people, to fool them into thinking you did something stupid, shows some sort of superior gamesmanship.

Which is why I never got what made Ramjet a hero to so many. All I know is that that is a person not to be trusted.

What is the point in throwing away your credibility, forever, on a lame "joke"?

I can't believe this trash is getting as much attention as the bolt-chopping K&K thread.

Both are fascinating - one, like watching a once in a lifetime comet blazing across the sky, the other, like watching a lunatic banging his head against a brick wall.
One, inspiring and interesting and cool, despite controversy.
The other, soul-crushing and lame.

See if you can guess which is which.

Respectfully, you people need to go climbing and see what that's like. Then you might remember what this is all about. It sure isn't for inane arguments about how should be banned for saying what and trolling and all the other incredibly pointless arguing you do.

In the name of something, anything, special and cool and magic within you, consider acting like an adult who likes to do cool sh#t and then share it with one another, instead of like an anonymous e-child with a foul mouth and zero parental guidance. If you're going to talk about stuff that isn't climbing on a climbing forum, at least be selfish enough to talk only about interesting topics.

Whuh? The K&K thing I couldn't even get through. Why would I care about what a bunch of armchair never was beens have to say about it? They chopped it, I applaud them, and have no interest in others' opinions on it.

The only people with anything worth listening to in there were Donini and that other dude that did an early ascent, and Rolo. The rest of all that babbling bullshit and butthurt Italians...zzzzzzzzz.

yeah... and the one of the great parts is in a few days Jim will be sitting at a campfire that I light. Oh the fun of armchairing it until the AM when the Sake finally wears off and we pull on monzonite.

Since you bring it up, however, I will acknowledge that you make a very good point there and, in keeping with the principles put forth, I will simply have to resist meeting BVB live and person. How very disappointing but we must be true to our principles.
