Hey, Donald: Devastating analysis. Just as I responded to your first string of insults - bite me. That's the way the word is spelled up here, and in most of the English speaking world.

Furthermore, I'd be quite surprised if I couldn't get a higher mark than you on a test of recent U.S. history administered by an objective examiner. Got to admit, though - I'd probably be a bit weak on the State Capitols and which sewer rat is ahead at the moment in the race to destroy what was once a flourishing democracy.

Perhaps if you and your jingoistic buddies took the trouble to learn how "leftist" (ooh...evil!) Scandinavian and, come to think of it, MOST European nations treat their citizens, you might even begin to develop the beginnings of a gentler domestic and world view.

Go back to your crayons. The only reason I took the trouble to comment on the typo was because "Mighty Hiker" was making the valid point that if the source of yet another of your dumb pictures was unable to spell a simple word correctly, then the possibility existed that the data contained therein might also be suspect.

Anyway, there's lies, damn lies, and statistics.

P.S.: I'm sure all of the facts I have posted can be verified. If you have located an error then, unlike you, Fart Tad, or Bookworm, I'll retract it.

messmer high school is in the milwaukee pbs district with a student population that is 98% minority...it's also a catholic school and very popular with recipients of milwaukee's school vouchers...99% of messmer's students receive some form of financial aid...tuition at messmer is less than $6,000/year...last year, mps spent over $16,000/student

85% of messmer graduates go on to attend college; the graduation rate for recipients of milwaukee's school vouchers is 18% higher than mps

the milwaukee ps has a graduation rate of only 67%, according to mps; other sources put the mps grad rate much lower

libs oppose the voucher program and recently protested gov walker's visit to the school:

t's not just vouchers, it's discipline, if not at home, then at school. Our liberals do not believe in discipline, they believe n everyone "expressing their own valid thoughts". The criminal is never guilty, just a product of a malfunctioning home, school, society, it's the insane liberals fault.

Jeff, why do you write such tripe? Is this what your whole life revolves around? Either trying to anger others so you can laugh at them and try to show just how superior you are, or do you really believe such tripe? Which is it?

Hi Apogee: You're right - there are others far more deserving than him - like Bookworm, who seems to find it amusing to joke about murdering unarmed political opponents, particularly after the recent slaughter of 76 children and other innocents in Norway by a nobody who shares many of his opinions. But, then, they deserved it, I suppose. Damn Socialists.

As for you, Degaine: If you actually took the trouble to READ my post, you may have noticed that it was not the typo I was criticizing and, what's more, I couldn't locate the word "its" in any part of my reply. Perhaps my eyes are failing. I did, however, note that Donald used "its" improperly when he started whining about my spelling of the word "colouring. Anyway, I'd be astonished if I hadn't made the occasional typo or grammatical error in my previous posts. Nobody's perfect.

So, Degaine, if you disapprove of the tone of my responses to these guys, It's because I bitterly resent this epidemic of Fascistic rage unleashed against those who disagree with their ideas and the insinuation that their warped brand of patriotism is the only acceptable form. The terms "leftist" and "Socialist" are used as verbal bludgeons by them as though the words represent the crystallization of all that is evil in this world and, if this is indeed the case, I must have missed the boatloads of patriots braving the hazards of the North Sea to reach Britain from Norway in search of freedom. Oops - I forgot - thousands of them DID do just that, except it was when their nation was invaded by German Fascists during the Second World War. The vast majority of Norwegians fought, and many died, in defence of Democracy, and were a major force in preventing Germany from developing atomic weapons. After victory they returned to their homes, assuming they still had them.

Astoundingly enough, I'm usually quite polite and am able to accept reasoned disagreement with my opinions, assuming I am afforded the same courtesy in return. I will not, however, tolerate outright insults - freedom of speech is a human right and it is currently permitted in the United States, but for how long if people who advocate gleeful murder and the rights of billionaires end up sleazing another one of their stooges into the Oval Office?

Boy, I expect the sort of spray I've had to plow through in the last few posts in the dead of winter, but it's still climbing season. Lighten up and hit the cliffs!

Some of us have reached adulthood, and the personal insults don't play well. If you disagree with the thrust of a post, how about either a principled, intellectually honest response, or silence?

How about just saying that the comment attacks a straw man, and asking for documentation that liberals say that? Alternatively, if it's really that absurd, ignore it.

There's an awful lot of robber baron, capitalist leech, and similar nonsense to which I choose not to respond, because it isn't worth getting into an insult-fest with someone who isn't interested in real argument.

I have been ignoring it and the world and this forum is getting uglier. Its time everyone started calling out people for their crap.
