I have to say, that Trump "pardon" joke was pretty good, I guess of all his misses (missus?) he is bound to get it right at least once.

At the risk of being called a wussy, PC or... something, I think that photo of the guy's head/half head spurting out blood is pretty gross. I don't think it is appropriate for this forum. Just my opinion though.

Arguing and bitching about politics in mixed company is fine these days as long as you don't talk policy or nuance. People's eyes glaze over, they yawn and become annoyed.
Of course they typically vote on style points and rage at the results later on.
A perfect example-
Trump claims that he will fix the levers of government, trade, finance and influence- including those that he has taken advantage of.
Trump say's he will deregulate across the board.
Anyone see a problem here?

I don't remember hearing a peep from you when it was Colin Powell in the exact same situation. Nor when Halliburton won contracts in Iraq while Cheney was VP.

what did i miss? how exactly was powell in the same situation?
and did cheney have a personal interest in halliburton?
i ain't no defender of cheney, but the point is this appears to be pretty f'n damning to anybody with a. open eyes and so b. whose first response isn't "well, what about what the other side did"
good to see you guys are okay with one of your public "servants" appearing to make decisions based on who donated to their personal/pet charities...
for year end 2014, the clinton foundation raised 340 million with 21 million [or 8.6%] going to management. haven't checked how this compares with other charities, and i'm assuming it's not out of line... the point is that this isn't chump change that is being talked about and i'd be pretty interested to see how exactly that 21 million was doled out [i accept that this doesn't go to the clintons directly]
while i'm sure the clinton foundation does great work, we are talking about the woman who was a large factor in influencing arms deals, foreign policy, etc. and so this kind of personal conflict of interest, however well intentioned, is very messed up.
but i guess most of you citizens are okay with your officials personally taking quarter million dollar wheel greasers [aka speaking engagements] from corporations, so millions of dollars to a charity in exchange for a meet and greet is actually a step in the right direction... /s
