Moving on from the reconstruction papers I cited for south America and Africa we get to Russia and China. I may have to repost this co2 site for S.A. and Africa- it's such a wonderful resource and lists lots of papers from a single summary. Yes, doomists, there are hundreds of peer reviewed papers noting a contemporaneous and distinct MWP and LIA worldwide. Read em and weep.

And Ed, do you think we are such idiots as to allow you to make the rules? This is a brawl buddy, not some genteel debate.

You know my opinion and you know it is backed up by a rising chorus of reputable scientists. Play all the games you want because the facts of observed reality are leaving CAGW far behind. Get with the 21st century Ed.There are numerous papers listed on each link. Find them and read yourself to form your own opinion.

Where's H20?
That's actually a good question TGT.
It's filtered out because it was a study to determine the direct effects of man-contributed GHG's.
When CO2 heats up the atmosphere, evaporation causes water vapor to increase, providing a positive feedback loop. Reduce CO2, temps go down, water vapor condenses out of the atmosphere.

You know that's bullshit TGT. Adding long lived CO2 to a system has dramatic effects on the outcome.
I just told you water vapor increases due to the temp increase of CO2, causing more temp increases. A positive feedback loop on temp that is directly responsible by the addition of CO2.

Riddle me this.
How THICK an atmosphere does it take to produce the recorded CO2 absorption levels?
At present CO2 levels?
At half those levels?
at twice those levels?

TGT goes ballistic.
Thanks for removing that enormous pic.
The answers are out there, TGT. Glad to help you out with the positive feedback aspect of water vapor and CO2. Something that you clearly did not uderstand.

Those are three very simple questions
When you can answer them, get back to me.

Why don't you actually contribute some science, TGT, rather than just asking questions.
Please give us your take. I provided the Harris 2001 paper, where's your paper?

What are the spectral characteristics of a black body,
illuminated by sunlight,
as measured from 0-1000m at present atmospheric composition and at half and twice present CO2 levels?

In general, black bodies absorb high energy shorter wave lengths and emit lower energy longwave radiation.
Why don't you just get to the point?

The point is you don't understand how little of the atmosphere it takes to absorb all that re-emitted radiation.

Thanks for admitting that you are only an obstructionist, uninterested in facts. How can a rational person possibly have a useful discussion with that?
