I do hear you.
I realize EVERYTHING has a slant to it ,you are guilty ,so am i.
Hovering somewhere in the middle is tough to do,people take sides,balance is what that creates,hopefully.
People in the middle should be happy with that .
Kind of what we grew up with.

What's to admit, Jeff? It's supposed to be about skeptics, which it turns out mostly means crackpots. I was hoping you weren't one of those but instead a credible skeptic. But so far your contributions have not been especially impressive.
And that's not to say there isn't science being discussed here. The main reason I tune in, aside from the train wreck fascination aspect which also serves to keep the thread alive, is to read the posts of Larry, Ed, and others. I miss the posts from Jeff Dozier.

And yet you think a question about real research = developing hypotheses, designing experiments, developing methods, collecting your own data and analyzing your own data is weird?

You have no problem challenging me. And I actually collect and interpret atmospheric data, along with the rest of the research process.

The global heat budget is a layman's term. Surely you can google it. But when the "community" attempts to dumb it down for their dumbass layman public, they claim that FFC is responsible for global warming / climate change / impending doom. They say we need to take drastic economic measures, impose taxes, etc. surely you will not claim to know nothing of the ongoing political processes.
So, as a scientist, I ask for the believers to show me the entire mathematical process that results in the bolded conclusion above. In order to come to that conclusion, it is imperative to know the uncertainty in the contributing data. Who here has audited the data and knows the results?
