HWD: There is no way you are going to get Cali liberals to engage you on how stupid the EPA laws and the strangling of the nations farmers, ranchers, miners and loggers is. They think any given excuse to destroy those groups is OK, and the use of a tiny almost extinct fish or bird to preform the act is just an excuse.
Would that be the same ranchers, farmers, miners and loggers who receive huge money from the federal government and dirt cheap land leases?

The businesses that get small breaks (or so you think, keep reading) in order that they may keep their businesses running, thereby employing hundreds of other people living close by, keeping entire towns running and hundreds of families living in the area are doing EVERYBODY a favor. The money the Government "gives" is always paid back through their utility and their stability.
Wow...Socialist. Land give-a-ways, below going rates leases, government helping to enhanced citizens lives...WTF is next...public health care.

While you breathe grey air, drink water treated to remove TCE and oil, and eat food grown 2000 miles away and sent to you frozen in boxes. You done real good city kids. Yuck it up. You are safe. Not a one of us will ever want YOUR life.
Dude no state is run over with wolves...the government pays a handsome price for any livestock killed by wolves.
Again those ranchers with their hands out.

"...the government pays a handsome price for any livestock killed by wolves."
Want a few phone numbers of ranchers with dead livestock that will tell you otherwise, Bob?
Not the kind of folk you want to tell that shite to--you eat what they raise (or try to).
Eat any wolves lately, folks, or just beef?

...and best environmentalists on the planet, along with farmers.
Animal proteins promote brain functions--lay off the veggies and soy, your body will thank you later.
But maybe Monsanto won't...
edit: eat what you want, but leave the wolves to the people that come in contact directly with them--not those that just shoot pretty pics of the lobo:-)

Right...pesticides, DDT, cattle sh#t everywhere, overgrazing, degradation of public water and if they had their way every wolf would be shot dead.

And they have the balls to complain about public healthcare, taxes and welfare.

edit: Land rich, cash poor, 16 hour work days--you want to live like that, or just go to the grocery store every week?

Fish with PCBs and plastics, Pigs with god knows what, Beef with steroids, Chicken with...
Eat what you like, leave the growers alone.
BTW--Montana's wolf hunt (and Idaho's) are fixing the wolf population as we speak.
another BTW--a HALF a MILLION dollars per wolf just for the Yellowstone pack that has ventured out of the YNP and into Park, Gallatin, Rosebud, Beaverhead, Jefferson, and Meagher counties (I left some out, it's late).
The wolf "experts" said that they would stay there, due to the amount of easy game available to them. With a range of 200+ MILES, I'd say the experts were dreaming and hopeful wishing, like all wolf lovers.
another, another BTW--YNP wolf numbers were 150 when I lived in Livingston, MT 4 years ago (their population was the combination to some gate locks in the Park)--so y'all do the math on that one.
