Apparently, she did receive classified information of two types:

1. It was not marked in the standardized format, so as to be known;
2. It was classified AFTER THE FACT, but was not at the time of transmission.

This discussion continues to disappoint me. Ken, we know from the FBI report that at least some of the material was marked classified when sent.

And we know Clinton was not asked whether she sent or received classified material over her server because of the testimony in the congresional hearings after the FBI report was made public.

Finally, FBI investigations of sitting cabinet members may not start with interviews of the cabinet members, but Hillary Clinton was not a member of the United States government at the time the issue came before the FBI. The departure from standard procedure was most unusual.

I understand the desire of the Hillary sycophants to ignore damning facts, but it still surprises me that they would assert the nonexistence of those facts.

The vehemence of the reaction of the Clinton supporters in the last page or two of posts reminds me of the old saying in the law: "When the facts are against you, argue the law. When the law is against you, argue the facts. When the law and facts are both against you, speak loudly and pound the table."

I believe Hillary is as corrupt and dishonest as the average national politician if not more so. But the emails? Come on. Worst case scenario she used a private server on purpose to avoid oversight but now we have many of those emails and there no smoking gun of anything terrible that she did and tried to cover up.

Compare that to Trumps shortcomings.... Inciting violence, bigotry, demagoguery, reckless foreign policy, encouraging Russia to hack a US candidate, etc.

I would vote Green Party but I was disappointed to hear that means environment green not pot green, bummer, so I'll vote libertarian. That's a joke but the way. Not a vote for trump because CA will go to Hillary no matter what.

Speaking of pot, Proposition 64 to legalize recreational use in CA looks like it will pass.

It's not going to be a good November for social conservatives.

Since the two parties held their nominating conventions, Mr. Trump’s lead over Mrs. Clinton with Republican women voters has declined by 13 percentage points, according to polls conducted by The New York Times and CBS News.

In late July, 72 percent of Republican women said they would vote for Mr. Trump, a healthy majority, but far below the level won by the past three Republican presidential nominees. In 2012, Mitt Romney won 93 percent of Republican women. In 2008, John McCain won 89 percent, and four years earlier, George W. Bush won 93 percent

"Trump supporters like Trump because he works in the real world and deals with real problems facing real people."

Uh, Susan, look at his business record, it does not speak volumes for a person who lives in the real world. I have been a journalist and writer for some time (over 44 years in five countries), and I have covered a lot of business issues and interviewed a lot of business people. I just completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise at UCD's Innovation Academy.

Donald Trump has failed a lot of people at their costs. Shareholders and small business people paid for his greed and ineptness. Just because he came out smelling like (stinking) roses does not make him a great business person. Yes, he is very good at marketing, but he has screwed a lot of people, look at his record if you do not believe me. The facts are there.

I have no love for Hillary, but Trump is a chump, in more ways than one.

Susan, he is a fake, a phony, a demagogue, a narcisstic megalomaniac. Look at his record. What is Hillary, not better by much so to say, but a damn sight better than Trump.

The US voters are left with two choices, personally I would go with the not-so-honest talker than the total bullshitter failed businessperson with bankruptcies who has left a trail of litigation in his wake.

EDIT
And yes I will vote for the first time in years. I will go to the Ballsbridge US Embassy in Dublin and cast my vote for Hillary, as much as it may leave a taint in my mouth. I cannot let Donald Trump be POTUS if I can help it. My family escaped (to America from England and Scotland) guys like him in 1640 and fought the British overlords. I interviewed Maggie in August 1989 in Number Ten and came out alive. I did not agree with her politics or policies, but I wrote objectively about her.

Donald Trump only cares about himself. Please, Susan with your Trump hat (avatar photo), look at the facts and not the rhetoric.

EDIT (A plug and a plea)
By the way, I am moving forward with Health Horizons, to initially tackle dementia and eventually other health issues. My mother passed away from Alzheimer's in 2007 in California, Jennie's mother passed away from Alzheimer's in Dublin in 2005, Jennie ( the love of my life) is now in a nursing home with a form of dementia (65 is much too young). I was her full-time 24/7 carer for over four years.

I have three websites, all new and I have to get my head around WordPress (I am not a techie), if any of you can help, I cannot compensate you, for now at least.

Some chiropractor in Pennsylvania has the .com and the .net is some company that buys up domain names and then offers them at ridiculous prices.

I'd ask The Donald to help me but I would just as soon as fart in my sleeping bag with the bag over my head. And he would bankrupt me… wait, there is nothing to bankrupt.

Susan, please wake up from your Donaldstupor. Hillary is not the best, but...

Prop 64 is not good for pot smokers..... sets up a big gov bureaucracy, the TAX $$ will go to that bureaucracy and not the general fund.

It will void almost all of the medical gains and place control of POT into the hands of the bureaucracy and big pharmaceutical control.

It will close down your local dispensary.

It will close down your backyard operation.

"Not Nixon. Perhaps Ford? Don't recall him doing that but then again I wasn't paying attention in those days.

Not Reagan. Did his wife Nancy go on the speaker circuit? Not that I recall.

Perhaps you can show me otherwise?

Yes, I'm happy to show you otherwise. Let's break this down.

Regan? You're simply wrong on that one:

http://articles.latimes.com/1990-03-04/magazine/tm-2327_1_nancy-reagan-foundation

On a weekday morning last month, shortly before his 79th birthday, the former President arrives at Las Vegas' Mirage hotel after a dash from Los Angeles on a corporate jet. America's 40th chief executive is the featured speaker at a Prudential realty-division sales convention

In a bit more than two hours, Reagan has earned his private-sector speech price of $50,000 (no charge to charities or schools), less a commission of about 20% to his lecture agents, Washington Speakers Bureau Inc. At sunny resorts from Palm Springs to the Bahamas, where he spent his birthday Feb. 6 as a luncheon speaker for Sara Lee Corp., Reagan does "a couple or three a month" of these unpublicized Fortune 500 appearances, Weinberg says. Reagan is grossing as much as $1.8 million a year from this source alone.

Nixon? Um, duh? He was ridden out on a rail in disgrace. An outlier in any sense. He did, however, sell books and interviews.

Ford? Again, wrong:

"Within a year of leaving office (1977), Ford had earned something like $1 million. He sat on corporate boards (20th Century Fox, for instance) and made paid speeches. He was available for conventions, meetings and, I was told, the opening of a shopping center."

But please proceed, Governor.

Every Republican in Congress is corrupt.
They are making huge money off bribes, lobbyist funding and billionaire sponsors
Name one Republican in office that's not a least as corrupt as what you think is the level of Hillary's corruption.

So I can care less about Hillary's so called "corruption"

She does not lie about everything like all Republicans.
She isn't going to lower taxes on the rich and lie about how it's going to save the economy while the debt sky rockets.
She is not going to start a war on lies.
She is not going to tank the economy like all Republicans will do.

and to some people's surprise, she is very liberal and progressive,
more than Bill.

And most importantly, she is the ONLY ONE that can Stop Trump

So if you vote for anyone else than her, what you are just saying is that you don't care if Trump wins, "my" vote will go to "my" vanity candidate that makes me feel good inside, let America Burn.

But most of all - Obama is not a moderate like he pretended - he is a radical, globalist, Marxist and leftist. Instead of change and peace through strength he practices appeasement.
Everything from history , to the school yard to raising our own kids tells us appeasement and excuses don't work. But that's what he does with ISIS, with criminals and with cultural welfare as well as with out existing border laws and legislation. This utopian idea that we were fed - multiculturalism, world peace, open borders, one love, and just the idea that we are moving to a better or more perfect society through technology or government. It starts from the safety of the kindergarten class.
It's just a f*#king lie. You can only have these fantasies because if strength. It's not true but we were all programmed with that crap along with all kinds of other bullsh#t. People can't see it because it is so much a part of them.

Sound like you are buying all the right wing spin instead of objectively looking at reality.

Obama is left of center. ACA was a compromise to keep health care private (not exactly a leftist ideal) and extend it to more people. Personally I think it should have done far more to control costs because that's the rabbit hole that is sucking up more and more $ in so many parts of society (employer provided healthcare, medicare, medicaid, etc. etc.). Millions of people now have insurance that didn't before, but as I said costs need to be better controlled through things like more preventative care, more education about diet and exercise, more percentage based co-pays so people would shop for the best deals, etc. If Obama was truly a far leftist he would have pushed hard for public health care like Canada has. Not exactly a socialist country...

Appeasement like the many drone strikes that Obama has approved? If you are a thinking person you do what works and is pragmatic. Acting all tough and pissing people off will only encourage more terrorism. You have to be tough, but fair. That's what the whole right doesn't get. Admitting when you made a mistake, treating other people fairly, talking things out doesn't make you weak, it makes you strong. When you sink to the other guys level and torture, lie, and cheat, THAT makes you weak. Not only is America strong enough to deal with terrorists fairly (e.g. you don't kill their families like Trump wants) it's actually a more effective strategy to use diplomacy and strength/power when needed.

We are becoming a better society by continuing to implement our American ideals; equality, freedom, and justice.
