The whole convention is one big advertisement for:
"We Hate Hillary so much, that we will vote for any stinking loser, and we will put in 100% of our support to whoever, so we can beat Hillary"
They have found unity in their Party, Hate for Hillary.
That's the only thing they can unify on.
look at the free publicity they have given to Hillary, just by mentioning her name.

I hate Hillary too, but I do not vote for the "lesser of two evils". I vote FOR somebody, not AGAINST someone.
In a close race, I'll always vote for the lesser of two evils. If it's a shoo-in, I typically vote Libertarian. In this case, I'm terrified of Trump becoming POTUS. I may not like Hillary's agenda. But I'm confident she won't screw things up half as bad as Trump would.

Regardless of Cruz's supposed 'principles' (aka selfish political strategizing for 2020), it's quite astounding that the Trumpster Klan would even allow the guy to speak in the first place.
Cruz made clear that he had no intention of endorsing him...Manafort & co. could have simply given him a video slot like Rubio (where they could control the message), but instead they put the guy front & center with no controls whatsoever.
They shouldn't be surprised Cruz said what he said. This kind of poor judgement and Reality TV political strategizing has been quintessential Trump, and is a good example of the type of management one should expect if he makes it to the WH.

Jody, can you explain or rebut all the other examples of Cruz lying I linked to?
I can provide more evidence of Cruz's long history of lying if you would prefer?

Trump thinks he is going to win the election and by letting Cruz spew he would dash Cruz's chances in 2020. The only real damage done by Cruz was to siphon attention from Pence.
If you ignore Pence's extreme positions he seems like a nice guy, I would tie in with him.

It's true, Jon...Pence seemed ok, and actually delivered a good speech (as did Cruz). He's far more Presidential than Trump, that's for sure.

This is f*#king nuts. The certainty in keeping NATO commitments has kept peace between Russia/ussr and the west. We can find some nits to pick, but nato works.

because he is under the assumption that Ted Cruz is not a liar
and I don't know Jody, never met him
and so I assume he would want to know when he is wrong about something
so that he can change his mind himself and also not repeat what he is wrong about to other people
