just the most inept President and former President we've ever had.
Yeah, that whole Israel-Egypt peace thing... pfft. I mean, come on, it was only 31 years of war. Slacker.
BTW, Carter did not call Wilson a racists.
Yeah...kept us out of war, tried to wean us off our dependence on oil, expanded public lands, created a national energy policy, dert of energy and dept of education...horrible man he was.
Oh...he was much better at controling government spending than any republican president 20 years before and after him.

If I might I would I would like to pose a distinction between the racisms of
1850,1950, and 2008 and now not limited to black persons.
In 1850 the stalking horse issue was “states rights” but at real issue was a
billion dollars of personal property in the form of owned slaves. And the need
to defend the functionality and profitability of southern plantations, dependent
upon slave labor as they were.
It was a defensive racism protecting extant and very critical economics.
In 1950 the Jim Crow economy set in place at the end of the Civil War was
under attack. That economy had been set up to retain many of the advantages
bound labor offered southern agronomy. The people were bound economically
and not by title. Much of that advantage had been lost, however, with the large
black emigration out of the South after WWII. The vaunted shift of southern
economics away from agriculture, which I think JE noted, may well be seen as a
result of that emigration.
The struggle in 1950 was a defense of the Jim Crow economy which was
already weakened.
The situation in 2008 is entirely different it seems to me. Now with the latino
and emigrations from many other parts of the world what was the majority is
now staring at the possibility it will in time become a minority. This is an
entirely new regime. We are no longer talking about defending an economy.
It is no longer just about money.
For people who are very used to living where the rights of others have been
under their control, seeing a minority person at the helm of a powerful elective
central government may be expected to cause loss of sleep along with many
other distressful symptoms. It would be a absolute godsend if that leader could
be labelled a “socialist”, something everyone “hates”.
To start with we might expect the Constitution and the democratic process
itself to come under attack. The events of the last eight years come to mind.
If and when the majority shifts we have no way of knowing that the new
majority will follow the same practices and inequities followed by the previous
majority. If we truly followed the teachings of our religions and if we had the
courage to believe we too have the strength to live through and ultimately
triumph over discrimination, we would obey the precepts we study on Sunday.
Humour is an essential leavening in times of stress so I will make a poor
attempt. I have a number of universal laws that are always followed. Law
number eighteen states, “Humans always labor to bring upon themselves the
thing they most fear.” People who do not wish to volunteer start wars that can
and do get them shot. People afraid of want, spend money foolishly.
People who fear being discriminated against are ever ready to discriminate.

The race card has been played (ineptly) this time to supply a reason why our President has failed to get any of his policies
through Congress.
He's a good campaigner but not so good at driving legislation.
The r-card was played in an attempt to divert attention from this
failure of governing skills.

Dr F
As often with you abusers' your own fears and insecurities are the main reasons you abuse. Psychologists have identified common characteristics of you domestic violence abusers. Many of the perpetrators, like yourself, suffer from low self-esteem, an inferior sense of self and identity that infects your world view
and makes you see disease where there is only health.

I WONDER IF ALL THESE DEMS ARE RACIST WHO VOTED TO DEFUND THE CRIMINAL SYNDICATE ACORN? ANYWAYS, IT WON'T MATTER:
"It’s a typical these-voters-are-such-rubes stunt; the House and Senate voted to defund ACORN on different bills.
The Senate bill is a housing bill, the House bill the federal takeover of student loans. Each bill will wind up in conference committee where the ACORN ban can be quietly stripped out, behind closed doors and secure from prying eyes. Then the org can keep on doing its important work of voter fraud and pandering to presumed pedophiles.
The most useful principle to hold close when considering members of Congress: they’re all crooks."

OUR COUNTRY IS IN THE VERY BEST OF HANDS!
"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said yesterday she is clueless about an amendment to prohibit government funds for embattled ACORN, although it overwhelmingly passed the Senate Monday and the White House is calling for the group to be held accountable.
“I don’t even know what they passed,” Pelosi told The Post yesterday. “What did they do? They defunded it?”
The amendment to suspend housing grants was a stunning blow to the community-activist group — and came as some Democrats and the White House have been backing away from the group.'

The republicans are so right on most issues...proof. They lost more seats in the house and seanate in the last two election cycles than any party in modern history.
Keep listening to Rush, Sean, Joe the plumber and the Joe the racist. 2010 should be a banner year for you.

Bob -- as I said a month ago, Obama will go down as the worst -- THE WORST -- president this nation has seen in the last 100 years.
Obama -- he is pure comedy now, and his presidency is only 7 months old!
Rev. Wright, ACORN, Ayers, Alinsky, Van Jones, Rod Blagojavich --does Obama have a friend/mentor/advisor who is not a crook?
Oh, by the way -- the independents, they don't listen to Rush and Hannity -- and they are running from Obama's stinking pile in droves. Its like Christmas every day with Obama!

From a Gallup poll: Although overall approval of the Republicans in Congress is about the same today as it was in December 2008, support among Republicans has dropped from 52% to 39%. At the same time, approval among Democrats has increased from 9% to 20%, helping to keep the overall rating from setting a new low. Remarkably, an outright majority of Republicans today (58%) say they disapprove of the job the Republicans in Congress are doing.
Republicans can't even stand republicans anymore.
Funny!

And now we have Obama's National Endowment for the Arts pushing artists to promote Obama propaganda.
And yet you libs really have no problem with this. Amazing.
It is called fascism folks. Yet the libs are SILENT.
"The NEA is the nation's largest single source of financial support for the arts, and its grants often prompt supplemental private donations. He who pays the piper does indeed call the tune, and in the four months before the conference call, 16 of the participating organizations received a total of nearly $2 million from the NEA. Two days after the call, the 16 and five other organizations issued a plea for the president's health care plan."
