Harry Reid yesterday
“Well, it’s not over,” Reid, D-Nev., told KRNV-TV in Reno on Monday. “We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it’s not over.” What are the Bundyites doing to have the law changed? I mean besides posing for the cameras. Again I ask, where is the defense attorney taking the now notorious Bundy case to Appeals Court?
So how do the Bundyites justify violating the law? I mean besides denying the law applies to Bundy in particular.
Which laws would you teach your kids to disobey?

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PHOTO?
Two men and one woman do not have a protective helmet (OSHA violation).
One woman, even though she has a helmet is not moving any dirt (slacker).
There is no way to identify the make nor the owner of the car (not a car, a tank).
Whilst the Native to Honky ratio looks good, there are only 25% women represented in this enterprise (bad form).

“[Reid] and his oldest son, Rory, are both involved in an effort by a Chinese energy giant, ENN Energy Group, to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert,” he wrote. “Reid has been one of the project’s most prominent advocates, helping recruit the company during a 2011 trip to China and applying his political muscle on behalf of the project in Nevada.”
“His son, a lawyer with a prominent Las Vegas firm that is representing ENN, helped it locate a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site that it is buying well below appraised value from Clark County, where Rory Reid formerly chaired the county commission.”
Now I know why Reid is workin' so hard with that shovel. Dig that dirt...

Bundy is even ignorant of or just plain ignoring the Nevada state Constitution
But the Paramount Allegiance of every citizen is due to the Federal Government in the exercise of all its Constitutional powers as the same have been or may be defined by the Supreme Court of the United States; The Constitution of the United States confers full power on the Federal Government to maintain and Perpetuate its existence, and whensoever any portion of the States, or people thereof attempt to secede from the Federal Union, or forcibly resist the Execution of its laws, the Federal Government may, by warrant of the Constitution, employ armed force in compelling obedience to its Authority. http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2014/04/the-irony-of-cliven-bundys-unconstitutional-stand/360587/
Why this specific language? It was 1863 and Nevada wanted to be certain the US understood Nevada was not going to secede.
This language remained in the Nevada Constitution when the official state Constitutional Convention ratified it in 1864. It's still there.
and the final paragraph in the article
It's doubtful even the Nevada Constitution will change their minds—if legal and constitutional arguments could persuade the militia movement, there might not be a militia movement.

500,000 fewer hamburgers per year
“I’m sure most of the people being considered for his job graduated from a college. These people are the cause of the destruction of wildlife.”
Cliven Bundy's 37-year-old son is arrested for "refusing to disperse" and resisting arrest. He was released the following day. His face is covered with scratches from fighting the feds. Before he left the detention center, authorities gave him a tuna fish sandwich. "It wasn’t poison," he said "I just ate it.”
“Nevada Cattlemen’s Association does not feel it is in our best interest to interfere in the process of adjudication in this matter."
Some of Bundy's neighbors aren't impressed by his actions. "I feel that the rule of law supersedes armed militias coming in from all over the country to stand with a law-breaking rancher, which is what he is," one person told a local TV station.
“This isn’t about no turtles or cows.”
I DON'T KNOW, MAYBE IT WAS THE ROSES OR THE WILD HORSES.
Wild horse advocates are getting angrier, saying that the roaming cattle are ruining their habitats. Other scientists argue that the wild horses and cows alike are ruining habitats for other animals.

He's boxed himself into a tight corner. No good out for him. Pathetic in a way that he let his whacko political ideas overcome his common sense. Although it appears he is very lacking in the latter.

This nuttery is only good for one thing - Sean Hannity's ratings.
You deranged and ignorant right-wing extremists are doing everything you can to provoke a violent confrontation - one that likely ends with honest and hard working law enforcement personnel getting killed.
You are pathetic nutjobs hammering away on your keyboards from the safety of your padded bunkers, spreading ridiculous conspiracy theories only the most feeble-minded person could swallow.
Uggh, I need a shower just reading your crap.

Yup. 160 acre watermelon farm and cattle grazing. Right on the Virgin River. Might be choice development property. Not that I like that idea.

Update from the Burns Brigade
The rally has been moved to Applebees. Subjects up for discussion include Mexicans in Nevada, property laws from a non-lawyers perspective, and Taxidermy of Rodents.
Additionally, Ron Anderson has voted himself President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Burns Brigade. Donations, including food stamps, accepted at the door.
