Thanks dee ee,

I'll bring a trials bike if it get's too tight ;)

I only ask 'cause this seems to be shaping up to be a rather large event, even by TG party standards.

edit: Thanks for remembering the aiders.

OK what was up with the original roof? No nails? Unusual for it to come up like that. You redecked. The old deck would not hold a nail?

The old roof held up except of the section on the original "cabin" section of the house, which was originally just partical board (like a bulliten board soft surface)..which was then covered with black paper and then stones.....when that started leaking after about 20 years, we shingled the whole roof;.....all the roof that was stapled to plywood was good to go...the section that was stapled to the soft particle board started to blow off from day one........we should have either
a) gone for the tar and rocks again
b) but plywood and then shingle on that section

The new roof which we put on , was just in the damaged section;...which now has new plywood, two layers of black paper hot tarred and massively nailed down, and the rolled roof exterior;...it's bomber now, and will outlast my life, no doubt.......it's overkill and already tested in some nasty winter storms which we had this winter.......I am psyched to have it fixed;...rain in the desert is so rare and so awesome;...but at our house we dreaded it and it was a leaky disaster with dripping water, lots of pots and pans, and sad faces.......now bring on the deluge......we fear no storms;....thanks to the climbing community and our friends who helped sponser and support this project......our family is greatful for this...

Erik meet his wife at the Gordon ranch, George Armstrong meet his wife at a party here too.....so did a canadian guy (BJ) and a girl from Seattle.(Jenn)....and a baby was concieved here from a Czech couple who vacationed here.....(The little californian...)......all sorts of mischief takes place here;.....single people beware;...it may be something in the water......or give in and go spouse hunting.....(ladies....Blitzo is unmarried;...so is Tucker Tech....)........

Hey Todd....won't be there, working with the troops in Colorado Springs, if anyone can post photos while the event is going on, I'll sit at my computer and at least spectate the grandure. Say hi to all the Bro's and Sista's, have a blast and be safe!
REALLY BUMMED I'm missing this one.
Peace
