Somethings take a bit, won't you please ask the snail darter - " is dat Bur cheeze ball'z wife?"
( in referance to the very oversized backside in the bulgemelone, -whatever' it is- thread )

Thinking back, I'd thought like if I'd had a been smart, a snail darter Ida beenNot to be
I'm me, not me myself & I
There are seventeen more? more ! a quantity of the sum of the square of the number of numbers of words that can be made from the combination of the letters without switching the positions of the letters, (as there are always some limitations in such calculations.)
if I've got that right.
G, No Me? Is the one I'm always aim in' for. But very little photographic evidence has come to the surface . And I wait up nights so that some who, I think, may be on that side of the globe might just show a snap of me.....what? Still? Gee, that's strange No Me.

There is the gamer GOD no play all fowl, a duck it would appear.
There is G ofthe D, and Gnome OTD, now I see that I did not count lower & yer' upper case...

Notice the distinct lack of foot pegs. Which means you need this.
Might as well trade in that scout cap for a helmet, while you're thinking about it.

Doing the dance way back was fun and easy. I was young and almost every clam was an oyster with a pearl
Youth to yuot to to you to yo!
I'm Gettin' old as dirt!

Remembrances of Split Pinnacle

Lower Pines Camp Ground
In the early mid 1970s
An empty pizza box and dead soldiers
Littered among the pine needles
By my beater white delivery van
As night settled on our campfire
In the misty autumn evening
And we plotted the next morning's prize

As the Limey's told their drunken tales
Al Harris topped the night
With his story of a winter back home
When they left every window and every door open
All the burners cranked on the stove
With the heater blasted full
To roll the meter over
And zero out the monthly bill
Before the meter reader came around
Which left them wondering after every climb
If they'd find the place burned to the ground

As hangovers and late starts go
After the grueling approach
Split pinnacle was in the shade
When the English beer for breakfast crew
Drew lots for the first lead
Up chimneys and short hand cracks
Rotten rock and blocky ledges
They schooled me to a wide ledge
At the base of the summit block
But there were no volunteers
To lead the free pitch variation
As we eyed the 10c lieback
In the shadowy afternoon
Of course we'd had big plans
Fuleled by liquor the night before

So we took the A1 crack
To sit in silence on the summit
Exhausted by my apprenticeship
We rapped the route before the dusk
And stumbled our way back down
To darkness and the valley floor
At least that's the way I barely remember it
No more glamorous than before

Jezzus, Boshman! Now ya got me all enervated & shyt.

The Way Way Less Traveled

Couldn't have done it in the rain,
Couldn't have done it with something to gain
Couldnt have done it with a little more pain
Couldn't have done it without the Rogaine (for 'hair' or 'sac')
And an extra apostrophe or two for added pro

Now, could you?

Of course you could've and maybe you should've but din't

But every ascent is not divine
Not every climb ascends a line
So pure and reasonable and ultra-fine
One avoiding both oak and pine
That it is classy enough to consider classic

Now, do they?

Of course they don't or we wouldnt need 'guidebooks' [nor their quarrelsome authors]

Returning to the Future,
the Dead Skin Scrolls

I'm all wrapped up in the past
Trapped in a recombinant loop
I never knew
How I wanted to reminisce on this level
I never knew

I've been stuck inside this time warp
What am I gonna do?
I can see the outer edge now
It's the time zone time line
I step into and out of
Playing my kazoo

Here in the reminiscer's circus
Of myself and you know who
With a host of campfire ghosts
Hovering memories in the past
With nothing else to do

But I've the rest of my life
What there is and nothing more
To look forward to the future
As someone just said here
How we're living in the past
The truth is hard to hear

To tell you the truth
Duluth
It's been more dufus-cult in the present
Whence the legend in my mind abides
And once held court

And lately
The past has been more awesome
Even palatable
The way I like to remember it
As it mostly were before

But the journey's come full circle
The dream that was once forgotten
Arose trumpeting from my past
For consumption by my ego
Blowhard and fool ready

Let's change the subject
We really need some rain
And because of global warming
We will wait at least three more months
Come hell in California

I'm just back from climbing at the historic Ragged Mountain Connecticut.
The place where the original Gnome of the Diabase, racked up some soft
Iron pegs. These would pass for tent stakes today. The rings on the blunt
end were only for carrying and securing the cord from falling off. Thin cord was used,
A larks head was the prefferd knot a jammed larks head due to an over driven pin . . .
The debate raged, but as they said back then, there where no Atheists in fox holes,
When you hit the peg, and it went in true, in just two blows, it was almost impossible
not to take that third tap to hear it ring, so everyone squished a head or two.
We would also sink 'Heads' but that was a fools play, it did more damage to the cord.
Then that cord was un-inspectable.

Strange save I've been very unlucky the location of terms of service gets some fresh stuff

Drag to lose a good post ,,, here I'll get it back
I'm watching the Florida Gators try to hold a thirty year winning streak over
the Wildcats of Kentucky.
The game is being played in Florida, where it is hotter but not as humid as it is here.
Diabase can be sweet the place I come for has some of that, the main wall at ragged is a giant Watchung!!! Three exclamation points. The day was spitting but sun would be showing beyond the gloom, threatening to break through. 100% humidity. The type of thick air that Florida gets, where you are glazed in sweat, then it rained hard and the sun came out.
The boulders would be deadly.
My plan head up with what turned into a longer than would be worth it hike with shoes and a camera. We eventual found the parking for the crag, the Main wall where there is a plaque.
The plaque memorializes Jim Adire, who died in a fall in the Valley in 1978! More on that
In a bit jjjjah man dss oops, is a drag,,,

Wait ! Whhaat?no be still my beating overheated heart have a hart trap
the one Thing one has to be most enfuriated with is. No Puncuation??
Oh oh ! YHATS not good to hear.
Did I tell you the one about the return to upper case for the start of every line ?
No I've not said this before?
Oh oH that is really not good
Then there my rants complete with auto correct generated typos, like this one,

No fugdin' Rules, no fudging Gude Books, no fugin way we don't need no mor punctuation
Nether...........there are all my periods my,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,there are almost enough apostrophes
And I'm gonna go back to using Z's for esses,,,S c?

I'm sorry for your loss, I think?
Deep into college football, I'm not ~ but climbing may still kill me.
I can't recoup the next paragraph that is probably a 1/2a tall frosty away from spewing forth in the usual dull blather I trade in.

The thing to point to is that I had planned to to hit that mark and then
(I'm sure you all missed )it -the post stalled at like the fourth or fifth word.
That is the save reference.

Beyond that the boy was back at the car in the air conditioning.
The wife and he had tried to walk to the ridge not a 1/2 mile up a mellow hill but up hill.
They actually made it nine tenths of the way to the 1st rock and the main wall was just beyond if you knew. But I didn't, so they gave up a went back down to the Ac in the car to wait.

So with that kernel you will have to forgive my more scatterbrained than usual
Musings and excuse me I have to go.

Support your local MMA.

Sheryl, a BFF of Liz's from the MAA, is a librarian now. I saw her the other day as I was checking out another Ivan Doig novel, which it turns out that I read previously.

That is not her pictured. Sheryl sent me the names of these pickle enthusiasts, but I lost the original post, and so they are not available.

We'll call the guys Dill, Claussen, Cuke, and the Magic Gherkin for now. We'll call the motorcycle mamma Alice, to keep it simple.

The good news is that yesterday I recovered the lost book and the pages are turning rapidly as Francine has changed her name to France and her mother Proxy the peroxide blonde has revealed she has work as a stand-in for MM in The Misfits.

The 1960-61 season was not kind to the UCLA Bruins hoopsters.
http://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/ucla/1961.html

It was far kinder to them, however, than to MM and Clark Gable.

And the RURP came into its own on Kat Pinnacle.
Fer sure climbing content.

California (some say Cal, not to be confused with Cal Worthington) coming off an 89 playz & 630 yard game (win over Hawaii 51-31) plays the local hero San Diego State University (nee College) Aztecs (do not confuse with ass techs, a whole [sic] 'nother story) tonight at what's called locally The Q.

The Aztecs beat up on New Hampshire last week 31-0.

I'm dying to see the New Hampshire/Hawaii match up.

Interestingly SDSU/C is favored by 7 (over/under = 60).

I'm still taking the Frisky Bears and wagering 4.5 oz of cheap beer.

Cal and his doawg Spot. I think he was only a SoCal phenomenon.

He'd stand on his head for your busines.

The roots of the Soda Wars go back many decades, back to the times when hemp ropes were in use and pitons were thought to be the last resort.

In short, when donini was in his prime.Depression. I have known depression and survived it.

Last daxnc? Dad can danxz, I was the dancing prancer of Dana then Donini cast it as
plebeian. I'm still proud of the climbing I did up there.
When it is all compared it is my
penultimate climbing experience as far as crowability.
It was as fast and far and high as I ever climbed, it felt like the real alpine.
I suffered more getting to the Lone Peak cirque in Utha, where we climbed the question mark a Lowe route.

Your Sierra tromps, still are my favorite. Viva Vytally oo, just some fun ya know?
Ya think ya know depresion? I'm not doubting you. My dark is also pitch.

I'm not a good one to time travel back, as I did to Califon yesterday. While that was fun and again thanks To or most traversed traveler, DMT, the bridges of my youth were shown here.
It also made me think that I've traveled down some roads.
Till here in a city I've landed and it looks like there is no going back.
Not for me, maybe for my fruitful loins and lucky I am for that or them

This old house is on tv I'm going to watch a bit gag n spit to welcome another day.
