Just tweakin our gullible AGW'ers who point at the
CO2 graph curve and claim its steepness gives them the right to dictate how
much more I should pay for everything when carbon taxes
are added on to save the planet.
Google says a pound of CO2 goes into the air for each kilowatt of electricity used by AGW'ers or skeptics.
No bonus efficiency for thinking green thoughts.

Base, where have you been? You mentioned the Bakken before, have you been up there helping the old U.S. to get weaned off the middle east oil that we are constantly manipulating governments and making war for?
On a earth science note Base- i've heard the earth's core radiates 0.8 watts per square meter into the oceans- my question is what happens to that heat and why are the deep oceans a nearly uniform 3-4 c given the oceans only make a complete turnover in like 1000 years?
Can any of you other scientists answer why a lot of ocean basins oscillate surface to deep water and vice-a-versa on a nearly 60 year peak to peak cycle? And is it just coincidence that the PDO and now AMO are in negative phase while the southern ocean and pacific tropics have very large areas of cold turnover water? Is it any wonder, considering the current negative ocean cycles and decrease in solar activity that both the poles have added historic volumes of sea ice and both the northern and southern hemisphere's are suffering from severe winters and cool summers? Why hasn't the rapidly increasing co2 not erased such natural influences?

Well any answers from Base, Chiloe, Mechrist or anyone else?
By the way, at lunch time in Reno off hwy. 80, i saw a Garcia/Hartouni look alike with a flourescent green shammy framed bycicle and other obvious burning man accoutrements heading in the direction of Burning Man. Ed, are you doing acid and climbing out on the playa?
Bruce- lay off the hard stuff man, your slurring and repeating yourself.

Well Chief at $400.00 a pop entry fee, i wonder what the government subsidy total is for all the AGWer's attending that important conference? Hartouni will have the complete statistics on that no doubt.

so the Chief are you or are you not on the GOVERNMENT TEET?
please let us know...I understand it is hard to type with a big mammary gland in your mouth but do try to explain...
...in anticipation of your response "I earned it"...I say if your truly strong you would still pay your own way...but in reality you are just a FREELOADER living off of the taxpayers because you are too weak to provide for yourself...I'm guessing you also use free medical care...
TOO many FREELOADERS are ruining our country...it would be nice to see someone who professes to be STRONG actually live up to what they say they are...instead we are left with "the chief" he is a far cry from Commander John Folsom...a true patriot and leader...
off to fish for brookies on my taxpayer funded FAT ASS...

The salmon seem to be happy fish-f^cking in the Cowlitz River near Longview WA and all the other lower Columbia tributaries to make little fish
instead of swimming an extra thousand miles to Canada just to do the same thing. Just sayin.

>I guess my humorous pokes struck a raw nerve or two.
No raw nerve - your pokes aren't humorous in the first place. You only proved that you don't really care about the science. You're willing to call an anonymous person a liar and pedophile... But you aren't willing to acknowledge that you don't know what the uncertainty is on the major components of the energy budget for the planet. (Even though your argument hinges on that very math)
You are so desperately scared that you are wrong, you are willing to call a stranger a pedophile. Please justify your behavior to Werner. We are honored to have him on this forum.
>Anybody ever wonder why this thread always devolves into
>infantile pissing matches?
You mean like calling a stranger a pedophile?

Chief doesn't understand how science works.
He is incapable of considering, without emotion, a science question.
All I see are things that he picks out to reinforce a position that he took based on politics rather than evidence.
You can't do that with science. You will step on your dick.
TC, go read up on the Mesozoic hothouse event. It was CO2 forced, and we have a pretty good idea of the CO2 content of the time. There is a famous dinosaur bone bed on the N Slope of Alaska, along with a lot of fossil flora in coal seams. It was a temperate environment.
You have to ask the question of where was that deposit located during the Cretaceous. It turns out that it was closer to the pole than it is today.
There are several of these events that we know about. There is little question about the geology. Tons of work has been done on it.

The local news readers stupidly say Climate Change as often as possible these days. "Looks like Climate Change will keep the temps uncomfortably
comfortable this weekend folks! Its horrible giving us false hope that everything is ok!
or
Send us a photo from the climate disaster at your back yard Bar-B-Q."
or
"How climate change will make your morning commute longer."
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2259942/The-crazy-climate-change-obsession-thats-Met-Office-menace.html
Without fanfare — apparently in the desperate hope no one would notice —MET- finally conceded what other scientists have known for ages:
there is no evidence that ‘global warming’ is happening.
(Warmist)They’re panicking. All the predictions they’ve been making about man-made global warming these past 20 years have started to come crashing about their ears.’
