No harm, no fowl.

For I am chicken.
I imagine my life might taste like the last cherry in a bowl of other cherries
and that the bowl will never empty and I'm doomed to repeat this life ad infinitum.
A never-ending bowl of cherries has its cost, I suppose.

Foodporn Haus presents

A section of the Shoppers' Yodel, Middle Earth's throwaway sent out in bulk mail on Thursdays:

A feature provided especially for the stalwart alpine wives and darlings in aprons stuck in their remote chalets all over the world.

The ladies whom I imagine might be waiting for the cow to come home, or, bored with yodeling practice with the rooster, and done collecting eggs, feels a bit stifled.

Having ticked the local boulder problems countless times, showered (maybe even shaved in some unfortunate cases), and then, done writing a few paragraphs in her work-in-progress (called A Critique of Seasons, perhaps, if she fancies gourmet cooking), she sets the yogurt out, cottages some cheese, and finally, having seen the Oprah re-run, and exhausted all other resources except walking three kilometers to visit the neighbor and her brats, she turns to the computer and dials in The Flames.

As You Like It, madame.

Jim Shirley's recent pack trip.

He writes:
"Went for a backpack with daughter and a friend last month.
Virginia Lakes, Summit Lake 2 nights, day hike to Return Lake, walk out.
17 miles in 3 days.
I had some idea of climbing Matterhorn Peak by a third class ridge
but pooped out on the approach and never got close."
Conness and Dana and Shepherd Crest form the backdrop.

Jim writes, "I did not have the gas in the tank to climb anything.
I crashed at Return Lake while he bagged some nearby peaks (Stanton Peak first)."

Jim also noted: "Robbins did a route, probably on the big arête. Secor’s book says it is classic with great rock. Sob."

It's terrible having to try to keep up with marathoners and varsity women's basketball stars.

Jim also included a double shot of Mars during a dust storm, but it's not a jpg file.

All picture credits to Marathon Man.

Flashback foto.Should have rented a mule, Jim.

The Fock death we must .....?
Wait . . . . the rock derth, we must address, watch it auto correct you not beyond being turned off ! Ya hear me! I'm wokkin' here...

Gold in them der hills...

So much from half a cherry, syrup crush cubes?
During my time spent barley alive, a lot of time was spent trying
to draw 'fruit cocktail' in to my starving frame.

first thru a straw,so fast , that the bits ran down the throat before the gag reflex, slowed by opioids, could deflect the grainy syrup.
I'm wanting to stop but je'saying...

the memories that you hoped to ellisit were not what
they brought to me. They bring the memories I'm hoping to banish,

but the rehash of half a cherry . . .no, the one thing that got me ?
The dial that when turned sent the signal to my head?
was your refrain when you cropped the snap and so asked what became
of the half cherry, was it a quarter now?
You were being Daft'd

But if I'm taken off my beam, I'm like as not to be lost,
Lost I say, lost adrift in a sea, a sea of flames!

If the American educational grab-bag were doing its job, Skellcheck would not be needed, now, would it?

Suffer for your sins.

Being unable to spell is the leading cause of something, I'm sure.

I haven't any trouble, myself.

It's like, for me,
"What is it like not to be able to spell? Those poor dumfux--they must suffer terribly."

It's amazing how many medical doctors have illegible handwriting,
but I think it is to disguise their abysmal ability to spell correctly.

Pardon me for being elitist, but I get so few chances.
