I really liked John M.’s post last night because it did such a good job of illustrating how bad Obama Derangement Syndrome was and still is.

Fox News is focusing on the economy, pretending that Trump's big tax cut for the wealthy and his import tariffs are "Making America Great Again".

The truth is that workers' wages have been stagnant since 1974, while expenses, especially housing, have risen dramatically. 20% of Californians live in poverty, and a similarly low percentage of people can afford to buy homes. Most Americans will see no significant reduction in their taxes. Many Americans are adversely, and severely, affected by Trump's trade wars.

Trump's Russian Revolution is upon us.

Trump is systematically eliminating investigators and intelligence officials who have determined that Russia has been interfering in U.S. elections, most significantly to put Trump in the White House. Trump is systematically attempting to obstruct justice, and halt the Mueller investigation from discovering and disclosing Trump's conspiracy with Russia.

Just today, Trump stripped an ex-CIA chief of his security clearance because he has, repeatedly, stated that Russia is interfering in American politics. Trump's spokesliar, Sarah Sanders, says that FBI, CIA, NSA and other investigators' security clearances are "under review". Sanders further stated that numerous investigations showing Russian interference in America's affairs are not credible.

This is happening, right now.

Trump is attempting to strip the United States of its ability to fight off the current Russian attack. Trump is aiding and abetting a foreign enemy that is attacking the United States.

Trump issued a statement, after signing a Defense Budget bill this week, that he believes that he is not beholden to Congress. He said that he doesn't have to enforce certain aspects of that bill (i.e., he claims to have the power of line-item veto). Trump stated that he, alone, has absolute authority in dealing with foreign affairs. Trump is attempting to inflate his role, as the executor of the laws, to that of an absolute despot at the top of an imaginary system wherein he, alone, decides what the law is, and how he will apply it.

Trump's focus in the statement was that he is not going to abide by Congress' mandate that the current Russian attack be addressed and stopped.

Just for the record, Trump does not have absolute authority over foreign affairs. For example, he would have to go to Congress to ask for a declaration of war, and if it was granted, then he could declare war. The president executes the laws; he does not decide what the laws are. Trump's tariff policy is an abuse of power predicated on a fictitious national security risk, and is a perversion of an existing law that Trump falsely claims grants him absolute power over the economy.

Trump is an insane megalomaniac who probably figures that he has nothing to lose because he is just a senile old man trying to get whatever he can at the end of his life (c.f. Rudy Giuliani).

Your statement indicates that you are defending Trump's fealty to Russia, which has not occurred at any time in United States history, let alone during the terms of the last four presidents.

how often does he go to church now? What church does he go to in NJ? He still does the oval office photo ops with holy men, shamans or whatever it is they are called, and you people east it up. You right wingers cared a lot more about Obama's religious affiliation, it was so important, what happened?

Tom, thanks for taking the time to put that all down. It's pretty exhausting when you actually start to list the sh!t these nuts throw at American conventionality from every direction.

My father in law was a Naval carrier pilot, step dad a Navy SEAL, brother an Army Cobra pilot- most of these educated military people that have served and are no longer operational think Trump is psycho.

You can't put your head in the sand- Encourage someone young to go out and vote! Chances are they will have a better understanding of what's going on than a few people here who happen to think Russians are better than Democrats.
