Fender booboo's not the story. ..
Maiden voyage down Oak Creek Canyon in fall foliage is the scoop.

'Stopped for a coffee at some Podunk donut shop before blasting back from T-Day in Bakersfield. I really wanted to ask the owner what the mystery box was on the door in the hall, but I didn't because I wasn't in a gracious 'asking' mood.

Possibly a very inexpensive way to keep the door handle from crashing through the sheetrock or whatever that is in the wall (looks like a thermostat).

Perhaps the same person that installed the box (as well as the thermostat) and the location of the balcony sign in Guido's picture up thread.

Yeah. Rosebud... The story? Something about the casting of the shadows? Is this test because I blew it on the leaves?

My daughter and her friend worked the coat check at a holiday party.

One of the guests brought an inflatable sheep as his date.

HaHaHaHa! Hey, Fritz, is it already Friday? The reason I ask is 'cause I'd
have to be pretty hammered to fall for a Gabon Viper taking a European Robin!

I guess he coulda been visiting. :-)
