Sometimes life can be just paying the monthly bills.
With a good blackberry (assume you're conscious) an injured climber could negotiate for real savings to get the busted
leg fixed. Doctors love cash and hate paperwork. Shop around.

cchopper, do you own your home? Did you pay for it outright, without a loan?
Did you pay for your car outright?
Have you had a moderate or major medical incident and paid for it outright? Do you have enough money saved right now so that you can do so if you get seriously injured today?

Socialism is rampant in the Republican party.
They should never again be allowed to handle money.
They took a 300 billion dollar SURPLUS from Bill Clinton and
turned it in to a 1.5 TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT.
Republicans: the party of big government and big deficits.

A monthly payment is the transfer of wealth from one party (such as a person or company) to another. A monthy payment is usually made in exchange for the provision of goods, services or both, or to fulfill a legal obligation. Repeated monthly until the full amount has been paid.

When will the Republicans realize that big government can't
solve all their little problems?
It's about accepting personal responsibility.
It's also about not being so damn stupid as to sell short
all your clients in to the fastest rising Obama BULL MARKET
in US history. And no stated STOP LOSS.
Just watch it go higher every day, then when the market does
turn down, lie and say you stayed short the entire time!
As Bobby Dylan sang: "How does it FEEL"?
TO be WRONG and LOSING YOUR ASS.
Fatty, you ARE a dumbass, and should not be allowed near money.

I'm mad as hell, loaded on oxycodone, and not gonna take it anymore.
New highs again in the markets as I type.
Only a FOOL would sell his clients money short with no stop.
Watch Fatty LIE and say he did not sell short, I got his
post marked.
Watch him LIE when the market does turn down and say he
was only short a "little" or some other CRAP LIE.
Now the DOW and SP are up FIFTY PERCENT from the announcement
low of Obama's gutsy ballsy STIMULUS bill signing.
SUCK ON THAT. IT's CALLED GOOD GOVERNMENT YOU DUMB FUKS.

Are you for real? Are you actually jdf under this avatar, trolling really stoooopid questions and statements?
So, all small businesses should then maintain enough cash so that they can carry debt on purchases their customers made for months or years? Do you realize how much $ that would be for something like a car dealership?
You know, I used to have a ridiculously simplified view of such things...but then I went to junior high school, and started to understand differently. Have you tried that, cchopper?

Wow! I'e been gone for a weekend, and all I see in the last several posts are insults. "Brain dead" pretty much sums it up.
Still, just for fun, what's the issue with higher life insurance premiums for climbers? I've had to pay that for over 25 years, as have scuba divers, private pilots, smokers, and lots of others who engage in activities that increase the risk of premature death. I don't like it, but I find it fairer than asking those who refrain from those activities to subsidize those who do.

Why should this thread ever die?
Dr.F's topic question is TARGET RICH for plucking.
Limbaugh was hooked on oxycontin, I am loaded on oxycodone.
Both narcotics for pain. But mine is more liberal, and therefore more effective.
BUT, I don't have a Latin American maid to take the original
prescription to five different Florida pharmacies to be filled.
I have to, all by myself, go to ONE pharmacy. Such is life.
The days of the kinder, gentler Norton are OVER.
I'm mad, loaded, and not gonna take it anymore.
I want a piece of Fatty and that cut and run weasel, Shutup.

“I know a guy who used to mountaineer. Now he can't cause it's a rider in his insurance agreement. I don't know what prompted that clause, but now with kids and whatnot he's not willing to take the risk so he doesn't.”
Whoa! Great news! Now the only people in the mountains will be old people who no longer need insurance!
Dang! I am headed out to get some of those new really great rope soled shoes. Where can you get these tuning fork thingys?
On a roll here.

It is widely reported Bill Clinton advised Bush as he came into office that Al Qaeda would be his major problem. George went to Crawford TX to think about it. Apparently the only thing George told Condoleeza to do was hold down his feet.
Darned if I can figure out what they were doing.
