Saw two rattle snakes on Saturday. One baby on the trail to Spiral.
One old fatty with a broken rattle on the main trail. Watch your step.

Hey guys! I'm actually going to be able to make it out the Point tomorrow afternoon and am going to bring my BBQ set up. Would love to make this the biggest BBQ yet! Let me know on here or through text if you wanna bring hot dogs or chips or whatever.

For the life of me, I don't understand the love of that god forsaken place. I'm sure it was great in the day. It was the first place I climbed at given, then immediatly moved on to Tahquitz and JT.
The last time I went bouldering there I almost stepped in sh*t. The human kind. Between that and the broken glass everywhere, graffiti and such...ugh. No Mas.

Beth, I don' t know when you were last out at stoney point, but it has cleaned up quite a bit in the past few years. It is obviously not a place to compare to josh or tahquitz, but it is beautiful and amazing in its own way. You can learn tons of technique, drink beer, hang out with some truly bad-ass climbers(most being old farts), climb some more, and eat hot dogs. all in one day. Mabey you should come out to the point and climb with us today! BBQ @ 7 by boulder 1. Come be a part of one of the more historical climbing areas in the country.

Actually now that I think about it, I've seen more human excrement out back from Hidden Valley Campground than I ever have at Stoney.
