"Biggest difference between a TEA party protest and liberal protest? TEA partiers have JOBS!"
That's true, I'm sure FauxNews &/or some Repug PAC paid them quite well to be astroturf....

And your proof for that absurd defamatory statement is...?
Actually one of the biggest differences is that Obama supporters are literate.

I support Obama. I have a job. In fact I own my own company. I have three well adjusted children. I don't play video games. I have an IQ in the high 140s. I volunteer for and support many good and noble causes. I am loyal to the founding principles of the United States. I suffered a permanent disability while serving the interest of my country. I don't fit your foolish assertions. AND... I am not alone. The majority of Americans support Obama and the direction he is going in his efforts to undue the damages perpetrated by the GOP and Neo-Cons.

You are so deluded WeirdLois.
There were millions of people world wide protesting Bush's war plans and FuX news said nothing other than calling them a few disgruntled unpatriotic anti Americans.
FuX news is popular because it appeals to the ignorant and their unwillingness to think for themselves.

"You are certainly free to challenge anything I have introduced and offer evidence to contradict any point I have raised. We can then consider that evidence and further our discussion should you be so inclined. As for me investing a whole lot of time "researching" stuff I discuss, I would not hold my breath. "
I have, and did. If you want to be lazy and just blow stuff off the top of your dome that's fine. Just don't be amazed and offended when people call you out for looking like you're talking out your ass...because you are. You don't need to "write a formal paper" but making specific points instead of vague generalizations will only help you out. You don't need to do hours of research, but talking about what specifically leads you to have opinion X Y and Z certainly seems a lot more credible (and interesting) than saying "transparency? Ha! yeah right." If you can't cite events that have lead you to have the opinion you have then you are just inviting the kind of reactions that you claim to not like.
"o what does MSNBC carry about an event in Washington involving tens of thousands of people?......
Zippo!
The main page of MSNBC at this particular time carries headline stories about who will go to the superbowl, Serena Williams getting penalized at a match and the swine flu. Other minor stories on the front page include a variety of topics but NOT ONE SINGLE WORD about the mass protest in Washington ongoing at this very moment. "
Good god. You make a generalization about "the mainstream media" and then single out MSNBC? If you are upset with them than talk about them, not about "the mainstream media" (of which Fox news is a major part). The reason that "so many" people like Fox News is because it tells the news that THOSE PEOPLE want to hear. Amazingly, in this case, you want to hear that people are upset about the health care plans and that news is about exactly that. The New York Times was covering that yesterday all day, by the way. They aren't the great evil mainstream media anymore?

Anyone laboring under the delusion that the US mainstream media is not bias check this out.
"Tens of thousands of people have marched from the White House to Capitol Hill in Washington to protest against Barack Obama's healthcare reforms."
So what does MSNBC carry about an event in Washington involving tens of thousands of people?......
Zippo!"
Funny you should mention this, Lois- I was listening to NPR this morning, and they had two back-to-back pieces about Obama's plan: the first one was 4-5 sentence mention of a speech Obama did yesterday, with a sound byte of thousands of supporters- the first piece lasted about 30 seconds.
The following piece was about 3 minutes long, and it was a report on the demonstrations at the capital yesterday. There were several interviews with attendees, and a strong emphasis on comments about the skepticism that many hold towards the plan.
Given the clear, unbalanced emphasis that these pieces held (in the way of time and content), I rubbed my ears thinking I was listening to FauxNews. Nope, it was NPR.
Media bias, my ass.

Impressive crowd at the Capital yesterday. At this point, it appears that the astroturfing by various PAC's and media spinning by FauxNews, CNN, etc. has inflamed the brainless masses out of their Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant chairs.
Where were all those idjuts when their gov't was sending their kids to a war with a country that never touched us? A war that was started through lies, and was simply about oil $ for Shrub's buddies? When their beloved Repug gov't was expanding to the greatest level in history, and creating the greatest deficit in history?
Where were you, TGT? HWD/LEB? cchopper?
That GOP kool-aid is strong stuff, man.
