Hey Mods - Would you be open to allowing a couple of threads for political/controversial subjects?
I know you tire of the trolling and childish bickering that's commonplace in these types of threads. But occasionally, the threads offer worthwhile content.
Two threads would probably be sufficient. One for races, elections, legislation and politicians/candidates. The other for (controversial) news stories or issues not directly about politics. Both could be labelled NSFW. Let the trolls and the mean kids have their little sandbox. Give them an outlet for their neurotic needs. Give 'em a place to act out so they don't piss all over the climbing threads.

Go ahead and start a thread Sketch, and see how it works out.
Keep the name camouflaged as to it's content so folks that just want climbing content will not be offended.
