Ya know, I didn't want to do this, but I just flashed on a parallel with Lois's question.....
Doesn't matter if we're talking about bluering, skipt, Weschrist, FortMental, or fattrad...there isn't so much a specific, individual comment or post that is completely illustrative of the reason why they were (or should be, in my virtually worthless opinion) nuked.
It's the overall pattern that matters. When you look at the pattern that each of these people exhibited, it formed a sum (arguably) larger than most. Yes, bluering is still here...and yes, he seems to have had a lucid moment tonight. He's had those moments before- many times before- and always....always...he follows up with more evidence of who he really is. It's not pretty. Maybe not nuke-worthy (yet), but not pretty or positive.

What you continually fail at at is the notion of free-speech and free-excercise. You think ther should be one person-based dominion. NO!!! The constitution works very well. It is almost perfect. That is good enough for me, bra!!

What you continually fail to understand is that this Forum is owned by an individual. It's a capitalist enterprise, and private property...you like that, remember??
It's not public property...it's private property. If you had a neighbor who had rightwing leanings, who put up a giant billboard and told you and the rest of your cohorts that you could post all of your ideas for the world to see...and then later, some brownshirted, whitehooded whackos started posting some reallllly nasty shite, and your neighbor said...umm, that's not really what I had in mind...you need to leave now...

'Grieving'? To the extent bluering lost someone who was on his 'side', yeah, I'd say that's true. Really, all of bluering's rantings about 'partisan censorship' is just bullshite...the clear, obvious facts demonstrate otherwise, and in the end, he's pissed because his 'side' lost a key player. And that's about it.

I want to say that I am very grateful that CMac took steps to make this place more positive and less hateful. Frankly, I was getting really fed up with it and losing interest because of the tolerance for all the hatefulness
And yet here you are, dug in tighter than a tick, like a stubborn virus we just can't seem to shake. Exactly how much more "fed up" with the "hatefulness" must you become before you lose interest? The amount of time and energy you invest in this climber's environment is nothing less than stunning. The sheer weight of your postcount could stunt a team of oxen in it's tracks. In case it has not entirely sunk in with you yet, let me state yet once again for the record: your ongoing presence here, and your obstinate determination to maintain your presence here, are quite likely both clinical and pathological manifestations of some unfortunate short-circuit in your mental wiring. You are not so much as the Village Idiot as the Village Freak; the inscrutable bag lady who sits by herself at the lunch counter engaging in loud "conversations" with invisible, imignary, mentally manufactured "freinds."
Right off the top of my head, I can think of just one more step that Chris M. can undertake to add a bit more polish to this gem of a forum. So close, and yet so far...

I was merely engaging in another gratuitous, tastless, and mean-sprited jab at my favorite, perennial, fish-in-a barrel target of opportunity, the one and only LEB, lost in the wilderness of a climbing world she cannot possibly comprehend. No rosetta stones exist for translating the nomenclature, zeitgiest, gestalt, and perverse humor of the Hidden Valley set for some lost soul who stumbled into our asylum and deluded herself into thinking she could serve a role here. She is one grain of sand who muscled her way into the oyster without a prayer of ever becoming a pearl. Odd, sad, and extraordinarily facinating...from a clinical point of view, anyho, for those who take an interest in the murky world of human behavioral analysis. She truly is one odd duck, and is fun to examine from a distance, sort of in that "can't-take-your-eyes-off-the-train-wreck" impulse that most of us are powerless to resist.
And on another note, WAY off-topic, my blessed doctor has cleared me to go out and hack around for two hours -- and not a second more -- on the local 5.6 slab circuit. So, so, so psyched, I can't sleep! I mean, it's 2:15 am and I'm drinking coffee and eating Trader Joe's cheesecake. w00t!
