The Band before scaling back group size
You shoulda been on the river in 1910
They were driving the women just like they drove the men.

Photo of the Owens Valley Paiute in front of their community center about the time of the Piper v. Big Pine School District case. Alice Piper is the first left in the back upper row; her father, Pike Piper, is the first left in the front row.

Horses are in the barn, swathed in blankets. The barn gates are closed, and snow is falling furiously.

Piper, fully 30 years before Brown v Board of Education (not that Brown)
I was thinking that street might be Larkin, then I was thinking it might be Stockton, but I don't see any where in North Beach/Fisherman's wharf that there are streets, then boats, then more buildings, unless you want to include in Alcatraz.
Maybe it's Boston.
How high's the water mama?
Can't really say, but it is a risin'. Thunder and lightening here today. Back tonight?

Have you seen any Thunderbirds lately?
Why are they missing? v Why? are they missing? (it's what linguists do, ask Noam Chomsky).
I wonder if it's a view east, rather than north. Treasure Island. Hold your horses, I need to get Belli on the phone.

Benny Bouffant, no?
FOR my acupuncturist in Berkeley.
FOR my oculist in Los Ojos.
FOR my title-searcher in downtown Merced, who happens to be my son Scott.
The brown building is where he works...it's pretty brown, but definitely not "That Brown."
How high's the building, Mama?

[Click to View YouTube Video]Hang me on your wall sweet gal
You can hang me in your bedroom
Or hang me in your hall
Make damn sure the light is right
And dream of me at night
Cuz I may not be around
When I'm dead and gone.

Belli is not there anymore, but if you want a condo above what used to be his office, it's yours for the taking and some swag.

I promised you The Race.
He who controls the water controls everything.
Water by the millis mill
Into the mouse pond
Addressing the viral dress
Redressing all the awful stress
On colors: black is the absence of color
White thinks it’s the dominant colour.
On the Street of Rods and Cones
All the gals are hags and crones.
On the Street of Cones and Rods
All the boys are demi-gods.
TO AURELIA
See, the flowery spring is blown,
Let us leave the smoky town;
From the mall, and from the ring,
Every one has taken wing;
Chloe, Strephon, Corydon,
To the meadows all are gone.
What is left you worth your stay?
Come, Aurelia, come away.
Come, Aurelia, come and see
What a lodge I’ve dressed for thee;
But the seat you cannot see,
‘T is so hid with jessamy,
With the vine that o’er the walls,
And in every window crawls;
Let us there be blithe and gay!
Come, Aurelia, come away.
Come with all thy sweetest wiles,
With thy graces and thy smiles;
Come, and we will merry be,
Who shall be so blest as we?
We will frolic all the day,
Haste, Aurelia, while we may;
Ay! and should not life be gay?
Yes, Aurelia, --come away.
