I CANNOT WAIT to watch you TrumpCuppers become truly unhinged when Hillary CRUSHES on election day.
I'll need a bunch of popcorn, and they will need as many anti-depressants & anti-anxiety meds that they can get their hands on.

A few things are certain over the next 3 months.
The polls will tighten and the media will call it a "Trump Comeback."
Clinton will keep beating Trump and there will be headlines that say something like "Is Trump's exploding candidacy actually bad news for Clinton?"
Despite persistently leading in the polls and the polarized electorate making it so that a 5 point lead is essentially a landslide, the media will repeatedly ask why Clinton isn't leading by more. Expect lots of "why can't Clinton seem to put Trump away?" articles and comments.
Trump will read half a speech from a teleprompter and the media will proclaim it a "pivot" and then he'll lose his mind on Twitter 12 hours later and everything will be normal. Also, he will repeatedly contradict himself and the media will call each one a unique "pivot."
When Clinton wins everyone will claim that it was obvious all along that Trump could never win.

Apogee's history of posts give a pretty good indication of what he believes. Moreover, they convince me that he, like most others on this forum, desires the same ends as I, even if we have significant disagreements on how we get there. That goes for a great many others, too. I know I'll forget too many, but, as an example, Gary - whose economic view of the world differs so completely from mine - still desires the same basic outcomes I do, and I would trust, him, apogee, HDDJ, healyje, Norton, Bob D'A, Craig Fry (!) and a great many others with whom I disagree to be seeking the common welfare if they were running things.
We can gripe about how shallow internet forums can be, but if we're persistent and willing to give others credit for being intelligent, we can learn a great deal from each other, and enjoy the exchange.
And I'd love to share a rope with any of you -- provided you don't mind pulling quite hard on occasion.

John, very true. In whatever ways all of us differ, I really believe we have far more in common and want to see what is right done in the world. I'd vote for just about any of the rightwing conservatards on ST before the nominated candidates running.
Except for locker, of course! :-)

Bravo, sir. Internet forums don't have to be shallow. There are plenty of others that aren't and we were plenty rancorous back in 2003 while also posting actual things.
This makes it pretty clear how uphill a climb Trump has. Swap out Pennsylvania for almost anything else and Clinton still takes it.
