Cubs are hitting Kershaw like crazy. He's not going to make it through the 4th at this rate.

I was wondering if anybody knew what Mr.Sianis acttally said.
A local Greek, William "Billy Goat" Sianis, owner of the Billy Goat Tavern and a Cubs fan, bought two tickets to Game four. Hoping to bring his team good luck he took his pet goat, Murphy, with him to the game. At the entrance to the park, the Andy Fran ushers stopped Billy Goat from entering saying that no animals are allowed in the park. Billy Goat, frustrated, appealed to the owner of the Cubs, P.K. Wrigley. Wrigley replied, "Let Billy in, but not the goat." Billy Goat asked, "Why not the goat?" Wrigley answered, "Because the goat stinks." According to legend, the goat and Billy were upset, so then Billy threw up his arms and exclaimed, "The Cubs ain't gonna win no more. The Cubs will never win a World Series so long as the goat is not allowed in Wrigley Field." The Cubs were officially cursed. Subsequently, the Cubs lost game four, and the remaining series getting swept at home and from the World Series. Billy Goat promptly sent a telegram to P.K. Wrigley, stating, "Who stinks now?"
This is the best I could do on short notice.
Apparently he was not being high-fived. Murphy was faster than sheeit (though not near as quick as Calvin) and actually stole more bases than Lou Brock (at the same age).

Kersh is fooling nobody! Something like 6 swing and misses in 60 pitches???
Get that bullpen hot and put all those hopes and dreams in Blanton!
Have any curves been called a strike yet? He is missing badly.

5 unanswered runs...I'm surprised Kershaw is still in the game. Except who knows what the Plan B would be.
Cubs are back online...Dodgers have been on their typical post-season choke.
This is painful to watch.
Beers. Lots of beers.

Jansen's in the bullpen. Can't imagine him coming in this early, but what's the alternative?
Damn...Hendricks is throwing really well tonight.

I told y'all on Thursday it was a waste of jet fuel for the Dodgers to go to Chi-town.

Plan B is for Jansen to throw about 4 innings. Not a great plan.
I hope they let Hendrix go a long time... none of that pull him quick stuff. Dude is doing great!

It would seem insulting to pull him too soon...it's not like the Dodgers are likely to get much going.
This is a great night for Hendricks. Let him have it.

My guess is that there was a goat at Wrigley tonight. Maybe even all season long.

Jansen's solid as usual. If he had an opening pitcher...and some actual hitting...we'd be looking good.
Sounds like he's going free agent next season? Dodgers have depended yyuuggellly on Kershaw-Jansen. The rest of the bullpen has been way too erratic.
Lose Jansen, and that picture looks grim.
