Caught some guy breaking into cars in my neighborhood a couple of years ago. Trying to open cars. My little pups just happend to want to pee at 2 in the am and saw this as#@&%e. Called the cops and chased him down. When we got him and he opened his door...stolen credit cards fell out. Ended up he was responsible for over 100 breakins through the carson valley. Greatest feeling in the world catchin the little meth head!!!!

I guess anything is possible. The bag was a sealed river bag with the contents inside sealed in turkey bags to reduce odor against such an eventuality. It probably weighed 20 lbs. The coyote/fox would definitely be dragging it off. Again, anything is possible. Doesn't change the fact that people steal sh#t at Joshua Tree just like anywhere else.
