Lynn, if you're reading this.... I'll probably never get a chance to meet you, but I would be honored to shake your hand. There's an unbeatable elegance to the way you move on the rock. Thanks for being.

What a pair! I would be honored just to be around for that meeting. Makes me smile thinking of it.

I remember when Lynn slept in the dirt at Camp 4 like the rest of us and appreciate that connection.
One day I watched her top rope the Acid Crack with such effortless grace I felt compelled to give it a go myself.
After flailing for a while I really appreciated how much better a climber she was than I'd EVER BE.
When she freed the Nose she took her rightful place in the history books as one of the world's best climbers, something we can all appreciate.
Respect,
PB

I am hoping that Lynn will be able to speak at the Oakdale Festival 2013 but haven't heard back yet.
Lynn is one of my heroes and I have cheered her on from afar. Serious athlete from the Nose to the World Cup!
Tom Frost has mentioned to me that the weekend climbers of the sixties used to joke nervously about what was going to happen when real athletes entered climbing. We now know...

I met her once at Neptune Mountaineering. My climbing partner heard one of the clerks say, "Hi Lynn". My partner nearly knocked everyone over to introduce himself and shake her hand.
I wandered over(not that I didn't want to meet her. I was just a little embarrassed by my friend), I said "Hi" shook her hand. She said "Nice hat". I was wearing one of my Tam O'Shanter's. I was was walking on cloud 9 after that.

Lynn is tops in my book.

I belong to a generation of climbers who define success by style: for us, free climbing is a philosophy and a way of life. Our approach to the rock—clean, traditional climbing, with the least dependence on equipment. Lynn Hill
