I finish summer school on the 14th of August and have 2 weeks off. It's a min. 2 day drive with kid in tow, or 21 hours straight through solo. Likely have kid, wife and dog in tow...3 days minimum!
Anyways, on the burner for an attempt...bummed I'll never get to meet the likes of Brutus! but looking forward to meeting the other great folks here, someday!

School generally starts for me on about the 25th, as a pink slipped employee any starting date is pending though...
I think Ed as second week issues...
Lugar, bring the whole team, if you can, my daughter loved Vedauwoo ( and every where else for that matter) at that age.

'Aight Jaybro...work in progress, wife gave me an ultimatum today though that I may have to choose b/t golf or climbing this summer (quitting school not an option)! The city golf tournament is next month...I have to defend my title from last year, there are tough choices to be made.

this summer is just weird for scheduling for me... hopefully it will only be this year...

Seeing as how my other adventures didnt pan out, I might be able to go to Vedauwoo.
I will look into it. Any chance I could get a tour of Devil's Tower if I head out the same time as you Jay?

Ok, Right off the Bat the weather this year has been Extreme at best! Lots of rain and Hail. Back roads flooded. Camping conditions very poor. Will keep you all Informed it can only get better. Trust Me!

Heck, he's just down the road a spell in Poofter's Froth, WY...he could catch a ride on the hay wagon from there. BTW, I love that little town, so friendly and rustic!
Edit: Jaybro, what's the date of the "Running of the Wolves" again in Wolf City? I hear that's a real adrenalin rush!
