Speaking of the Colonel - where does he get his chickens for his family bucket?

Because I've never seen a chicken with one breast, four legs, three butts and two deep fried chicken tw#ts.

hey there drljefe, and roxjox for the historical-type info here on this baboquirari peak trip....

had never heard of it... great pictures...

seems there is some odd chicken tracks about...
(better than mountain lion tracks, i reckon)....

great trip share--sad about the bad history though, for those that live near there....

All I jefe say is, DRL, you have to work on your staying power,

Really sweet Tr boys.

'09 is just getting started but this is gonna be a hard one to beat for best Tr of the year. Way to through it down.

cheers
e

ps. that southeast(or southwest) arete route is really fun--Cathedral Peak-esque though with a little looser rock.

Great TR - I'd completely missed it until today. Very cool.

Gertrude, it's no secret that I have a real 'thing' for birds so count me in... The sooner the better! I'll see if BrassNuts is game...

I have always considered these types of relationships to be a little edgy for climbers to engage in.

I avoided alpine chickens and did stick to sheep (velcro gloves) in my younger days.

But---the eternal truth is: "sure gets lonely on those bivouacs."

Great fun guys! I emailed the ST link to my old climbing buddies.
